Anna, Darren, and Marcea pulled up in front of Alison Cooper's house. It was getting late and the sun was beginning to go down. Anna stepped out of the car and almost onto a black cat.
"Hello kitty," she said.
The cat looked up at her and then walked away seeming unimpressed. The three of them walked up to the house the cat followed. Anna knocked on the door and the cat began to rub up against Darren's legs. Anna looked down at the cat it was staring up at her as it rubbed Darren's legs. The door opened.
"Hello?" said Alice.
"Alison Cooper?" asked Anna.
"Yes," she said, " that's me."
"I'm Detective Matthews and this is Detective Marx and this is Dr. Marcea Dark," she explained as they pulled out their badges.
"I see," said Alice, " is something wrong?"
"We have a few questions to ask you about recent events," explained Anna.
"Please come in," said Alice and stepped back from the door opening it wider to allow them in. The black cat darted into the house.
Anna, Darren and Marcea walked in and looked around she showed them into the front room the same one Victoria had been in. Like Victoria they noticed her cats everywhere. The house was clean and tidy despite the amount of cats the house smelled fresh.
"Please sit," said Alice.
They all sat down on the sofa and Alice sat across from them in an armchair much the same way it had been during Victoria's visit.
"Thank you," said Anna.
"What were your questions?" Alice asked.
"Well, as you may or may not know several people who were involved in or looking into the Aston Manor Massacre thirty years ago have all been killed. I don't believe in coincidences. What can you tell us about what happened?" explained Anna.
"Oh yes I did hear about that so sad I don't know how that lead you to me though," said Alice.
"Well you were the sole survivor of the events thirty years ago so we figured that Veronica paid you a visit and you might have some insight and could very well be in danger yourself," told Anna.
"I see," said Alice, "yes the reporter came to me I told her what I tell everyone to read my book," explained Alice.
"But what can you tell us about that night," pressed Marcea.
"Only that I was very young and it was very horrifying as you can imagine," explained Alice.
"Yes of course," said Marcea looking over to Anna, "could I hold your hand?"
"I suppose," said Alice timidly.
Marcea took Alice's hand in hers.
"Oh," said Marcea.
"What?" asked Alice pulling her hand away.
"Nothing," said Marcea, "but who are the seven?"
"I'm certain I don't know what you're talking about," snapped Alice defensively.
"There's no need to get defensive," replied Marcea, "I'm an empath."
"An empath?" said Alice.
"Yes I can sense emotions, and energies and sometimes read and see thoughts," explained Marcea.
"I see," said Alice, "I don't think I'm comfortable with that."
"Why what do you have to hide?" asked Anna.
