A little come together

After a few test rounds and simulators, I was done with one part of my schedule for today. Bianchi, my manager and the best there is, came up to me. 

"How do you feel? Everything alright?" Giving her a thumbs-up while drinking out of my bottle she smiled satisfied.

"You got free time for two hours now, later there is a photoshoot with Charles for the new season. I'm sending you the location. After that, a short meeting here and that's it for today then." 

"Thanks. Do you know by any chance where Charles is now?" She shook her head.

"Nope, didn't see him. But he's somewhere near for sure." Her phone started to ring.

"Alright, I have to take this. See you later, sweetheart. Ciao Ciao" She blew me an air kiss and walked away talking on the phone.

Well then. I need food. Proper food. So, I left the garage and walked past the garages, dialing Charles's number. 

"Hello hello"

"Where are you?" 

"Well hello to you too favorite teammate Charles, How are you doing? Oh, I'm doing amazing how are you, dearest Delancy??" 

I rolled my eyes. He always does that. 

"I would be doing splendidly if I got any food. And since I'm so nice I wanted to ask you if you want to join me." 

"Ohhhh food, yes I'm coming. Where are you?" I turned around to look at the garages around me. 

"At the Audi garage. I'm gonna wait here."

"Alright, give me like 3 minutes, byeee" 

The phone call ended and I put my phone away. It was rather cold today. I mean it's still March so of course, the temperatures won't be like in July. Everyone was working and busy with something. Then I heard a familiar voice.

Turning around I saw Seb with Hanna, Emily, and Matilda. Oh wow, the whole Vettel family. Emily saw me first and immediately waved at me with both hands. Smiling I waved back at her and caught the attention of the others too. 

"Haaaalloooo Tante Delancy" ("Hello Aunt Delancy") Emily and Matilda ran up to me and I hugged both of them.

"Ja, hi ihr zwei, wie geht's euch?" ("Hi you two, how are you doing?") Right. As side info, my mom is german so I know how to speak it. Don't use it often tho, though I'm more used to English.

The girls stayed by my side until Seb and Hanna came up to us, greeting me. We talked a bit about the new season coming up and how Seb made his comeback with Audi. The whole world liked that. And that's a fact. You just gotta love Seb. 

"Auf wen wartest du hier?" (Who are you waiting for here?"), Seb asked me while Hanna was busy making sure that the girls don't touch everything they see. 

"Auf Charles, wir gehen was essen. Wollt ihr mitkommen?" (For Charles. We're going to eat something. Do you want to join us?) I don't have anything against it. Quite the opposite. I may not look like it but I adore kids.  

"Ahh okay, danke wir haben gegessen. Die Mädels wollen heute noch ins Kino gehen. Und da habe ich natürlich keine Chance." ("Ahh okay, thanks we already ate. The girls want to go to the cinema today. And I don't have a chance there of course.") 

We laughed looking at the three until Matilda stopped running around and whispered something into Emily's ear and they started to agree and giggle all excited.

I just knew it had to do with me and I already feared what was coming at me. Then they came up to me and Seb, looking at us with their most angelic faces and Emily started talking.
