Back at home I had a long talk with Kimi. He didn't let me go before I told him everything what happened. He did know some bits but not the details. To be honest, I almost started crying a few times. But, I held myself back. I also told him about the PR thing. He wasn't a big fan of it either. But his liking of any men close to me infected his opinion on the PR thing too. Believe it or not, but Kimi is very protective.
I didn't even know how late it was when I went back to my bedroom. My eyes scanned the room. After this weekend, I'm going to fly to Italy because of the next race. Maybe I should start packing. Then I heard a "Ding!" sound when I opened my wardrobe. It was my phone.
Unplugging it from the charger, the display finally showed life signals. I had about 20 missed calls which were from Kimi, Charles and my mom. Oh no, I don't even want to know how she reacted when she read those articles. I'll call her back, sometime soon. Pretty sure that Kimi already told her everything but still. She has to hear it from me.
For some reason I had more text messages. Again some from Kimi, Charles and mom. Ah. And the groupchat. I took a deep breath and opened the chat.

Closing the chat I was ready to put the phone away and start packing when my eyes widened. "No."
My hands were slightly shaking as I opened the chat. How did this happen? How? I don't know what's worse. That he saw the text and left me on seen or if he would have replied. I was already thinking of deleting the message but that would have been stupid. So, I just let it be and closed the chat. I'm surprised he didn't even comment on that today.
