Delancy POV:

Warm water poured down on my body. My eyes were closed and I felt at peace for the first time in weeks.

Days passed here in Germany. I carried another win with me. It was an exhausting weekend but it's over. Now that there is a longer break, Mick and I decided to stay here and attend the wedding of my cousin.

Right, Mick. For the past days, I've been avoiding him as much as I could. Since the incident at the store, I wasn't able to act normally around him.

Everytime he looked at me, smiled at me, touched me on accident or talked to me...blood rushed to my cheeks, my hand palms started to sweat and I was shy and nervous.

Whatever he does, that needs to stop. The fact that I feel intimidated by him shows that something is wrong. I never felt that way before.

I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling. Actually, I did. When we were younger. Everytime he and his family were over, I ran up to my room and didn't dare to come out.

What's so special about him anyway? He's born March 22, 1999 in Switzerland. 5'9'' tall. Michael and Corinna Schumacher are his parents. Gina-Maria is his older sister. He has blonde hair. Blue eyes. He speaks four languages fluently. He is a F1 driver. A big Marvel fan, also a big Harry Potter fan. He has a dog named Angie. He likes dragons. His favorite desert are meringues and he only eats it in Switzerland.

Wait.

Why do I remember all of that? There is no upcoming interview or a challenge for Youtube. I shook my head and ran over my wet hair with my fingers.

Let's focus on something else.

Like Bianchi and Olivia.

In the past days, we didn't interact a lot with them. Actually, not at all. There are good news, though. The internet doesn't believe the Audio. There are plenty pictures of us and videos that fans put together. That's good for us.

I thought about talking to Bianchi today. But I'd have to tell Mick about that first. I want him to know. Thanks to my hiding and avoiding him, I didn't even have an actual conversation with him. So, that's something I have to work on first.

After the shower, I got ready for the day. As I left the bathroom, I heard someone in the room. I followed the noise and found Mick packing his gym bag.

He looked up and greeted me with a smile. "Good morning, sleepyhead. How did you sleep?"

Sleepyhead? Yeah, right. As if. "Good, I slept good." There was no other response that came to my mind.

"Are you alright?"

Why is he asking me that? Psht, just don't mind me. Thank you. I pretended to be busy with something on my phone, just not to look at him.

"Hm? Yeah, I am. But I have to be somewhere right now, see you later!" Then I took a quick glance at him and almost ran out of the room.

It may seem rude and cold but honestly, rather that than hearing him laugh at the fact that I'm shy around him.

There were no appointments for me, so I wasn't busy. So, I decided to call my mom.

During the call, I wandered through the hotel. Mick would come with me to the wedding, but we will still act like a couple. It's too much of a risk, showing up as friends there. Especially in front of my mother who is gossip girl in person.

"Thanks mom, I'm really getting tired of Hotel rooms. Mick and I will start driving after dinner."

"What?! No! After lunch! I want you two to join us at the family dinner. And I don't want to hear a but, Delancy. There is no but. You and Mick will join the family dinner."
