Delancy POV:

It was about 7 am when I woke up. It's a wonder I even got some sleep. I kept waking up in the night because of dreams. Because I didn't feel like going back to sleep anymore, I sat up.

Now, let's not do the same mistake again. Take it slow. Closing my eyes, I put one leg on the floor and then the other. And now, stand up slowly. Still with my eyes closed, I stood up. No dizzy feeling. That's a good start in the day. I opened my eyes and looked around. The sun was already out. Well, let's start the day.

After a long shower and getting ready, I came out of the bathroom. I made my bed and opened one window for fresh air. Then, I checked my phone. No messages. No calls. I opened the picture of the schedule.

We'd have to go to breakfast together and go to the gym later. The live of Lando, where Mick danced with a girl, cruised around in my head. Then I decided just to go alone to breakfast and to the gym.
Petty? Maybe. But I didn't care.

Mick POV:

I waited at the elevator about five minutes already. Where is she? I mean, I'm slightly late today but she wouldn't leave without me. I looked at my watch once again. Knocking at her door didn't help me either. She didn't open it. I thought about calling her but just decided to text her then.

And I got left on seen. I don't know what's supposed to mean, a payback because I left her on seen the day before or something else I can't think of. After standing in the hallway for another 10 minutes, I just decided to go down to the restaurant. Maybe she's already there.

Nope, she wasn't. I scanned every table and every person at the buffet, but no. She wasn't here. Just before I wanted to leave the restaurant, Lando and Esteban waved at me, calling me over. And so I did. I had breakfast with Lando and Esteban. Not with Delancy.

"Yesterday was amazing. The music, the vibes and most especially, the girls." Lando grinned and took a sip of his tea.

"And I thought you were going to mention my dance skills." Esteban acted as if he was offended.

"What's up, Mick? Stood up with the wrong foot today?" I looked up to Lando, who asked me that question. Seems like he noticed that I didn't laugh at their jokes.

"Oh, I'm just a bit...tired. That's all."

He winked. "No wonder, after dancing that much with that girl. Who was she again? A model?"

I nodded. "Yeah, she's from Germany. We know each other." Lando and Esteban grinned like middle school boys who just opened up the biology book page 69.

"And no, there is nothing between us."

"Come on, dude. She was so down to get some. The way she acted around you, damn obvious. But hot." Esteban agreed with Lando but I just shook my head.

"Yeah, she is an attractive woman but the thing is, I am not attracted to her. Get that, boys?" Both of them looked at me with a confused look on their faces.

"Alright, who are you and what did you do with Mick?" Lando crossed his arms. "What's wrong, man?"

I ignored his comment and question and continued eating. Then Esteban said something which almost made me choke on the food.

"Is it because of Delancy?" Lando looked at him.

"What do you mean?" Esteban cleared his throat.

"Well, since this whole PR thing started, Mick's been acting different. And I assume it's because of her."

Lando's eyes were fixed at me. "Is that true?" I felt like I was in a police station.

"No, it's not true. I'm not changing because of her and I'm not attracted to her or like her." Esteban showed me a gesture with his hands to tell me to calm down.
