Chapter 2. Hi

Someone in a towel?!
"Hey!! Get out!!" They yell
"Oh shit sorry!!" I say as I quickly get out and close the door
Moments later I hear the door open and I turn around
"Who are you?!" The person asks
"I- um I'm your new roommate...maya"I say
"Ohh!! Your maya?!" He says
"Yeah and um sorry about that I should've knocked" I say looking down
"You should next time" he says
There was a moment of silence
"Oh well hi I'm ajax" he says putting his hand out
"Nice to meet you but um could I come in now?" I say
"Yeah yeah yeah sorry" he says as he lets me in
"Which is my bed?" I ask
"The one in the corner" ajax points out
"Okay" I say as I walk over and throw my stuff on my bed and lay down
"Soo what's your power?" Ajax asks
"Why do you wanna know?" I say as I sit up smiling
"Just wondering" ajax says
"It's telekinesis" i say "what's yours?"
"Gorgon" ajax says
"Nice nice" I say
"So what class do you have?" Ajax asks
"Umm some plant class with ms. thornhill I think" I say
"Umm do you want a tour?" Ajax says
"Yeah" I say getting up from the bed and so does Ajax
As we start walking he asks me questions "got any siblings?"
"No" I say
"How'd you end up here?" He asks
"My mom brought me"
Around an hour later we were back in the room it was now 9:30pm
I was laying in bed reading a book while Ajax was watching tv
"What are you reading?" He asks looking away from the tv
"A book Ajax" I say
"What kind?" He says
"Mystery" i say
"Can I see it?" He says as he gets off his bed and sits on mine next to me
"Sure" I say hanging him the book
"What's it about?" He says as he starts to read it
"A murder that happened in a small town" I say
"Hmm nice I guess" ajax says as he hands me back my book
"I'm going to bed could you turn off the lights?" Ajax says
"Yeah" I say as I close my book and put it on the ground then turn off the light
"Ajax?" I say
"Hmm?" He says I could tell he was just falling asleep
"Goodnight" I say
"Night maya...oh and remember class starts at 9:30 and lights have to be out at 10" ajax says
"Okay" I say as I cover myself with my blanket and slowly fall asleep
