Chapter 8. Dance

It's been three weeks and it was the week of the dance. The theme was a type of yeti thing so everyone had to wear white. Me and Ajax finished around the same time.
Ajax even helped me with my hair as we relaxed for a moment i talked to Ajax

"Who are you going with Ajax?" I ask
"Um Enid..." Ajax says
"Awe you two are so cute together" I say
"Yeah...and lemme guess Xavier?" Ajax ask
"Yes" I say
Then someone knocked at the door
"I'll get it" Ajax says
"Okay" I say
It was Xavier "hey Ajax and mlady"
"Hey man" Ajax said
"Hey" I say as Xavier gave me a kiss
"I'm gonna get going i gotta go get Enid" Ajax says
Then me and Xavier began to go to the dance it was spectacular everything was so fun.
"Hey I'm going to go get some punch" Xavier says
"Okay hurry" I say
When Xavier left some guy came up to me

"Hey Maya" Enid said as she came over
"Hey Enid" I said
"How's it going? She asked
"Good what about you and Ajax?" I asked
"Umm hes been very distant you know?" She says
"Oh that's weird" I said then felt someone behind me
I looked up and it was Xavier he kissed me and I kissed back then he pulled away
"Got you punch" he said handing it to me
"Thanks" I said
"Okay well im going to go find Ajax there announcing king and queen in a minute " Enid said
"Okay" me and Xavier said
                         •Moments later•
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! TIME TO ANNOUNCE THE PROM KING AND QUEEN!!" Ms weems said
"THE PROM KING IS.... XAVIER THROPE!!"
There was a lot of clapping and I was too
"AND NOW THE QUEEN!!!...MAYA PARKER!!"
Again the audience was filled with clapping they placed crowns on us.
And now the king and queen will dance!! Ms weems said

We went into the center of the floor and they played a slow song while everyone danced and i stood on my tippy toes to lay on his shoulder he lifted me a bit my feet off the ground. After the dance me and Xavier went to our spot and relaxed.
