Chapter 4. Out

When I go back to my room Ajax was already there he was on his phone
"Hey Maya!!" He says getting off his phone
"Hey Ajax" I say as I walk over to my bag and grab sweats and a big tee shirt
"Where are you going?" Ajax asks
"Just going to hang out with someone I met" I say
"Who?" Ajax ask
"Someone" I say
"Okay don't tell me I don't care" Ajax says
"Mhm I bet you don't" I say
"I dont!!" He says
"Mhm" I say as I go in the bathroom and change it was 5:50 and I knew Xavier would come and get me.
I walk out of the bathroom and sit on my bed then there was a knock on the door
"I got-"
Ajax had already gotten up and opened the door "Xavier?" He said confused
"Hey man is maya here?" Xavier asked
"Yup right here" I said as I got up
"What is going on" Ajax said
"Nothin we're just going out" Xavier said
"Okay then" Ajax says
"Bye Ajax" I say as I give him a hug then walk out the door with Xavier
"Bye" Ajax said then closed the door

"So where do you want to go?" Xavier said
"Umm ice cream?" I say
"Sure" Xavier says as we walk to an ice cream place then we walk in
"May I have a vanilla ice cream with Oreo?" I say
"Anything else?" The worker asked
"I'll have a chocolate ice cream with some Oreos" Xavier said
"Okay there you go miss and mr your total comes out to $8.25" the worker said
"I got it" Xavier said
"Okay" I said as he put in his card
Then walked with me to a table
"So Maya?" Xavier said
"Yes?" I say as I eat some of my ice cream
"Tell me about yourself" Xavier said
"Well I'm an only child like reading that's kinda it what about you?" I say
"We'll only child too and I really like art" Xavier said as he brushed back a hair that had fallen on his face and i couldn't help admire him
"What?" He said laughing a bit
"Nothing" I say
"No what is it?" He said as he laughed a little more
"I- um really like your eyes" I said
"Mhm" he said
"No I do really" I say
"Okay" he said with a smirk
"Why are you smirking?" I said
"I'm not I'm just happy" he said
"Hey do you want to get going? It's seven" I say
"But we still have three hours" Xavier said
"I know but I want to go look at the stars" I say
"Alright let's go" he says as we get up and throw away the rest of our ice cream
"C'mon Xavier!!!" I yell as we run "YOUR SLOW!!" I say but he catches up to me and we stop running
"You were saying?" He said
"I didn't say anything" I said
"Sureeee" he said
"Look we're here" I said

We sat on the bench and looked up. It was spring it was still chilly. I shivered as I looked up then felt a heavy jacket on my shoulders
"Here" Xavier said
"Thanks xavier" I say as I wrap myself in his jacket then lay on his shoulder.

2 hours later
"C'mon we gotta go Maya" Xavier says
"Okay"say as Xavier puts his arm around me after 15 minutes we stop at my room
"Here you are" Xavier says looking down at me
"Yup" I say "I had a lot of fun tonight"
"So did I" he said
And before I knew it Xavier bend down to my height and gave me a kiss. It was beautiful his lips warm as they pressed against mine. Then he pulled away
"Alright I'm gonna get going" he said his face red
"Bye!!" I say as he runs off
"Bye!!" He says
Then I go back in to see Ajax asleep his phone in his hand he was watching a video or something like that.
I carefully took the phone out of his hand and put it on the charger. Then put his blanket on him. I then laid down in my bed remembering I was still in Xavier's jacket. I zipped it up and put a thin blanket on myself and went to sleep.
