Chapter 12. What is happening

About a month has gone by. Me and Xavier have gotten closer which makes me love him more than ever. Also some weird things have been happening. People are going missing...

I had woken up in the middle of the night. Ajax was snoring loudly so I knew he was asleep but Xavier was gone. It was weird because he fell asleep next to me. Unless he left?
I got up and looked at the time it was 2:30 in the morning. I didn't know what to do so I decided to go outside. I know it sounds stupid but I didn't know what else to do. I sat on the bench then I heard footsteps coming from behind I quickly turned around to see a ajax

"Maya what are you doing out here?" He said half asleep with a blanket wrapped around him
"Oh-um i just woke up" I said
"Okay but why'd you come outside it's freezing" ajax says
"I know...let's just go back in" I say but as I get up there's a scream from the woods
"AHHHHH" someone tells
"AJAX!!" I say "RUN!!" I yell as we both start running to our room
"WAIT UP!!!" Ajax says as he's a couple steps behind me
"COME ON" I say as I open the door and he runs in. I immediately lock the door the second he comes in.
"What...the...actual...FUCK WAS THAT?!" Ajax says
"How am i suppose to know?!" I say
"Wh-well we should tell the principal!!" Ajax says
"NO!! She'll never believe us!!" I say
"What do you want to go see what it was?" Ajax says sarcastically
"Well...." I say
"No...Maya no" ajax says
"C'mon five minutes then we'll be out" i say
"Fine" he says

We walk to the forest then there was another scream
"AHHHH"
"Maya could we go nowww???" Ajax says
"No just let me see" i say as I walk towards the spot where the scream was. I see Rowan's body? And the person above the body was........Xavier?

I then began running
"Ajax let's go" I whisper and we start running to our room
When we get there Ajax asks "what did you see?"
"Rowan's b-body" I say as my body shivers
"Was there anyone else?" He asks
"X-Xavier..." I say as tears fill my eyes and Ajax comforts me
"Your sure?" He asks
"Positive" I say
"Alright how about we watch a movie?" Ajax says
"Sure" I say "make sure that the doors locked please" I say
Ajax got up and double locked the door he sat on his bed and turned on the tv.
"W-would it be alright if I laid with you?" I ask skeptical
"Yes come" he says as he makes space for me
I lay on his bed and lay next to him he covers me in his blanket.
"What do you want to watch?" He asks
"I don't know you choose" I say
"Let's watch a Christmas movie?" He says
"Sure" I say as I cuddle onto his stomach
"Aright then" he says I could feel his heart racing fast
I close my eyes and say "goodnight ajax" knowing I wanted to actually say "goodnight ajax I love you" but didn't
"Goodnight Maya" he says
