Chapter 15. Ajax pov

I woke up around 3:30 in the morning but after trying to fall back asleep i didn't know what to do. I looked around I couldn't see anything but I could feel mayas body next to mine. I had my arms wrapped around her and she had hers wrapped around me along with one of her legs.
As I laid in the dark I didn't know what to do. So I began to play with her hair. I pushed it gently out of her face then began to twirl it around. A couple minutes later she started to move around and began to wake up.

"Ajax?" She said quietly
"Yeah?" I say quiet
"What are you doing up?" She asks
"Nothing" I say
"Mhm" she says "were you playing with my hair?"
"Wh-no" I say
"Liar" she says
"Fine I was" I say
"I knew it" she says and I could tell she smiling she then says "go back to bed"
"In a little...do you want to go by the lake?" I ask
"Now?" She says
"Yeah" I say
"Umm sure...but bring some blankets" she says as she gets up
"Okay" I say as I grab 2 blankets a pillow
"You ready?" I ask
"Yeah let's go" she says as she opens the door quietly

We run to the lake. And then we find a spot. I lay down a blanket
"Maya find four rocks" I say
"Okay" she says

Then five minutes later she comes back.
"Here and why'd you only get on pillow?" She asks
"Oh I thought you were going to lay on me...I could go get an-"
"No it's fine" she says

I lay down the pillow and lay down Maya lays down and rests her head on me while she puts the second blanket on us.
She starts to shiver
"You cold?" I ask
"Yeah it's fucking freezing" she says
"Here I say as I as I take off the hoodie I was wearing
"Thanks" she said as she sits up and puts it on then lays back down and sets her head on my stomach

And there we were...me and Maya looking up at the very few stars and to see the sunrise in an hour or two.
We stayed up talking instead of going back to sleep.
I sat up as she laid in between my legs. She talked while I listened and played around with her hair.
After 20 minutes she stops talking and looks up at me

"What is it?" I say as I stop playing with her hair
"..." she doesn't say anything but what she does do is sits up and looks at me
"What?" I say
And all she does is kiss me and I kiss back. Her hands on my cheeks and mine on hers. It was a minute long kiss. Then she pulled away then kissed me again. She was now on top of me while we made out. We made out so long that the sun started to come out.
