Narrator's POV:

5 months have passed since Zane Ro'Meave departed from Phoenix Drop and met Kawaii-Chan Ashida for the very first time ever and now the two have spent the last 5 months wondering about each other.

Kawaii-Chan wandered through out the village, looking down at the note as she read it over and over again with a small smile on her face, her fingers playing with the chain of the necklace.

I hope to see you again Kawaii-Chan.

I hope to see you again Kawaii-Chan.

I hope to see you again Kawaii-Chan.

Kawaii-Chan found her days were passing by slower than they used too as she wondered if she should make a trip to O'Khasis and hope to see him again.

But her fears of him not remembering her continued to overrule that and she found herself stopping herself from packing a bag and going to O'Khasis for the first time.

No one knew she had the pendant and every time she had come close to asking Garroth about the pendant, she found herself backing out and just asking him a different question.

Everyone in the village had noticed the change in Kawaii-Chan and wondered what had happened to the usually alert and cheerful meifwa, what made her change into a day dreaming yet still cheerful meifewa.

Garroth has spent the last 5 months trying to figure out what it was about Kawaii-Chan that made his younger brother want to spend time around her, and extend his stay just to be around her for a bit longer.

Garroth had never seen Zane be so kind to someone that wasn't their mother, and he wondered if there was something blooming between the two without neither of them realizing it.

Kawaii-Chan hummed quietly to the song she used to sing when she was a young girl with her siblings as she stared down at the note reading it over and over again.

She had been so lost in thought that she hadn't noticed Brendan walking up behind her and it wasn't until he was tapping her shoulder that she was brought back to reality.

She screamed and jumped away, spinning around and hiding the note behind her back to see Brendan standing there with a smile on his face as he laughed sheepishly.

"I didn't mean to scare you Kawaii-Chan, sorry" Kawaii-Chan simply let out a soft laugh as she tucked the note away to keep it out of sight of Brendan.

"It's quite alright Brendan-Kun, Kawaii-Chan was just lost in her own mind" She responded, Brendan nodded his head before smiling happily at her once again.

"I just wanted to see if you wanted to go for a walk with me? No one else wants too" He laughed, Kawaii-Chan nodded her head.

"Kawaii-Chan would be happy too Brendan-Kun" Brendan smiled as he fell into step next to her and Kawaii-Chan tried focusing on anything else.

In O'Khasis Zane continued on with his days as usual once he had returned but everyone in O'Khasis could see there was something different about their High Priest.

Whispers had started in O'Khasis as they tried thinking of what could've possibly happened to their High Priest while he was in Phoenix Drop 5 months ago.

However no one dared to go up and ask him what had happened to him, they knew better than to ever do something like that because he still wasn't a man who took kindly to people questioing his abilities.

Zane walked into the church and looked around as he struggled to keep his mind focused on anything else but the pink haired meifwa who had caught his attention the moment he walked through the gates of Phoenix Drop that day.

"It's a thank you for kindness symbol from where I grew up. You can toss it into the ocean when you leave or do whatever you want but thank you for your kindness towards me"

"It's a thank you for kindness symbol from where I grew up. You can toss it into the ocean when you leave or do whatever you want but thank you for your kindness towards me"

"It's a thank you for kindness symbol from where I grew up. You can toss it into the ocean when you leave or do whatever you want but thank you for your kindness towards me"

The pink rose spun between his fingers as he stared down at it wondering why she would ever believe that he would throw it away when she had given it to him.

He had taken good care of it too and wondered how it's stayed alive for so long but he was relieved to know it was still alive and healthy, he had carried it with him everywhere since he was given it.

Zane however found himself wanting to go back to Pheonix Drop to see her once again, he knew he shouldn't but he had almost done it a few times over the last 5 months.

Garroth had sent him a letter thanking him once again and mentioned how Kawaii-Chan had been about 2 months ago, Zane read over that part about her over and over again until his eyes hurt.

Even his mother, Lady Zianna, had noticed the change in her son and wondered what happened in Phoenix Drop that made him become so distracted in the last 5 months.

"Zane" Zane turned around, the rose still in his hand as he looked at his mother and nodded his head.

"Yes mother?" He responded walking towards her, she smiled softly at her son and noticed the pink rose in his hand that he quickly tucked away to stay out of sight of everyone.

"Are you alright darling? I called your name multiple times, you seem to be lost in thought" Zianna asked, Zane nodded his head as he stopped in front of her.

"Yes mother, I'm alright" Zianna didn't believe her son but she knew better than to question him, he had always been a stubborn man and wouldn't admit to anything if he didn't want too.

"Good. Would you like to join me for my walk? It's quite lonely when you only walk around with the guards" Zane nodded his head.

"Of course mother" Zianna smiled and walked out with Zane trailing behind her, his mind still stuck on Kawaii-Chan as he wondered how she was.
