SEVENTEEN: Hello Again

Kawaii-Chan's POV:

Rolling over, I slowly opened my eyes letting myself adjust to the sunlight peaking through the curtains and groaned for a moment about getting up for the day.

Slowly sitting up, I rubbed my eyes and stretched feeling much butter knowing that I had slept in an actual bed for the first time in days and I passed out the second my head hit the pillow last night.

Snapping my fingers, flames lit up in the lanterns and I slowly got out of bed and started making it quickly before going over to my bag and pulled out some clothes.

Pulling my night gown off, I slipped on the white square neckline long sleeve and pulled on a pair of pink leggings and adjusted them until they fit comfortably.

Grabbing the pink corset belt that goes with this, I buttoned it up and tied up the laces on it and grabbed knee high white lace up kitten heel boots and pulled them on.

Tying them up, I stood up and walked towards the vanity and sat down at it, picking up the hairbrush I started brushing through my hair until the knots were gone.

Once they were no more knots, I yawned and pulled half of my hair back and braid it leaving my hair half up half down with some strands around my face.

Adding the smallest amount of the makeup, I stood up and grabbed the pendant dangling on the side of the mirror, placing it around my neck I tucked it into my shirt again.

Stretching a bit, I walked over to the window and pulled the curtains open letting some more sunlight into the room as I finished getting ready and picked up the key and slid it into my corset.

Adding my weapons into their normal place, I walked out the door and shut it behind myself to see Emmalyn walking out at the same time as me, she smiled.

"Good morning Kawaii-Chan. Aren't you relieved that we slept in a bed last night?" She asked, I nodded my head quickly as she locked the door to her room.

"So relieved. Kawaii-Chan passed out the moment her head hit the pillow" Emmalyn laughed and said the same thing about her as we walked down the hallway.

Running down the stairs, I seen the Inn owners were in their usual place and they smiled at us greeting us both with a good morning, I returned the greeting.

Walking across to the door, I pulled it open for Emmalyn and she thanked me as she walked out the door with me falling after her, shutting the door behind myself I looked around.

Walking down the stairs, we headed over to our horses who were drinking some water until they noticed us and I jumepd when my horse flicked water in my direction.

"Jerk" I mumbled, Emmalyn snickered at me and I shot her a look as I untied the reins from around the post.

Flipping the reins back over his head, I placed my foot in the stirrup and pulled myself up onto the saddle once again as Emmalyn got up and whistled.

Tapping the sides of my horse, I whistled and brought my horse up into a trot as we made our way towards the 1st library that Emmalyn wanted to look through.

I looked around O'Khasis some more seeing the market down towards the water and it was huge with a lot of merchants setting up there as people begun making their way towards the market for the morning.

Spotting the same woman that I seen at the Tavern, she continued her walk as a few people stepped out of her way and I knew that meant she held a high title in the village.

Emmalyn went ahead of me talking about how excited she is about going to see the libraries because she hadn't been here in a few years and wondered what changed.
