The people that are in the seats to the front are ushered out of the car.

"Get out." A burly dark haired male directs.

"Hell no!" I scream before the seats are pulled down and both of my friends are grabbed by a separate wolf. I hear each of them scream as I scramble to get out of the backseat. I jump to the right side in order to go towards Alyssa, attempting to see where they are.

I am instead met with the face of my mate.

I'm sure I stop breathing at the sight of him. An overwhelming sense of longing and attraction comes over me. He is beautiful. Every atom of my being is called to him, but I try to shake that away in order to get out of this situation.

Before I can even think about my actions, I'm pulling the gun in my hand to his forehead. "Let us go and I won't blow your brains out right here."

His face pulls together in a completely humorless smirk. Even that expression makes me feel dizzy. He's even better up close. Every part of his face from his sharp jawline to the forehead that I have a gun barrel trained on is perfect. His crystal blue eyes look into mine. Their expression is hard. "Pull the trigger, Olivia."

"I would not talk like that if I was in your position Alpha Primum."

"Why not?" He questions. His tone is silky, almost conversational, even though I know he's perfectly focused and undoubtedly enraged at this situation. "The only way that you would be escaping is by shooting me and that's what you so clearly want."

My hands shake a little. "There's no need for that."

"Or I'm sure if I got shot there are enough wolves here to where your friends would be immediately killed."

I take in a sharp breath, my hands spasming even more. "At least let my friends go," I say desperation creeping into my tone.

A wave of anger passes over his face and before I know it his hands have come up and yanked on the gun. As he does, my fingers pull the trigger. Instead of anything coming out and me inadvertently shooting him, nothing comes out of the gun.

I am shocked at the lack of ammunition until it dawns on me. The very obvious betrayal of this base. They delivered me on a platter to the Alpha Primum. And I'm going to kill them. But one thing at a time.

He throws the gun out of the car and stares at me with those piercing eyes. "Get out of the car, Olivia." He says softly.

I take a sharp breath before I start shaking my head. I can't. I won't. "No." I continue shaking my head. "I can't go with you. I won't. It's-" I breathe harder and harder. I take another deep breath and look up at him. "I won't go with you," I tell him with as much passion as I can muster up.

He shakes his head slowly. "You will be coming with me." His eyes have lost a bit of that firm hardness and gained a touch of tenderness. However, with another shake of my head, it's lost again. My breathing gets faster as I try to gain more oxygen and try to ease the panic that shoots through the haze of longing that I unwittingly have for the man in front of me.

He leans more forward into the van that I am still sitting in as I attempt to scramble back. "Don't you dare touch me!" I bring up my legs to my chest, intent on kicking out my legs to ward him off.

I hear a low growl coming from him. "I'm your mate. I'm the only one who should ever be touching you." I can almost pick up on the feral nature of his words. His words make me just stare at him wide-eyed. He's visibly angrier at these words. I probably angered his wolf with these. But actually, let's face it, I've been angering his wolf since it got the heeby jeebies and decided that I was its one true soul mate. He's still moving forward slowly.
