Chapter 05

Yujin POV
I woke up to light stroking of my hair.
I looked around.
"This isn't my dorm..." I gasped and quickly got out of the bed.
I turned to face the bed to see a stunned Jungwon.
I gasped.
"Why didn't you wake me up or something?" I said.
"Trust me, I tried." He laughed.
"I better head back, I went past my curfew! Hopefully Jieun didn't notice I was gone." I said and frantically searched around for my phone.
"She did notice you were gone." Jungwon got up.
"What do you mean...?" I looked at him, confused.
"She called, screaming, asking you to go back to the dorm. But I, Yang Jungwon, helped you get out of the situation!" He laughed.
"I-I'm heading to HYBE first." I sighed.
"At least wash up. I have an extra toothbrush." He said and took it out from his drawer.
I agreed and we ended up heading to HYBE first while his members were still asleep.

We headed to the main dance studio and started to make a choreo for the song we have chosen.
Once we made a rough draft of what we wanted to do for the choreography, we hit play on the laptop and the song started to play on the speakers.
Jungwon and I danced to the soothing voice of our sunbaes, bts.

Once we were done, we were practically breathless and there was sweat trickling from our heads.
"I think the chorus should be more angelic." I suggested.
Jungwon nodded and inched closer to me.
"You did great." He smiled.
"You think so?" I asked and looked up at him.
He nodded again and pulled me in for a hug.
"What if someone sees us!" I said and backed away.
"No one will see us!" He insisted and cupped my cheeks.
He pulled me in for a kiss when the door opened to reveal Sunoo.
We immediately backed away from each other and I let out a cough.
"Sorry, you guys continue." Sunoo smiled awkwardly and left.
We stood in shock after what had just happened.

2 Weeks Later
Jungwon and I were backstage of Music Bank, preparing for our performance.
I was getting my makeup done and saw Jungwon dancing in the background with hair clips still in his hair.
I giggled as he looked like a 5 year old child.
"Your done, Yujin! Good luck out there!" My stylist encouraged.
I went to the couch nearby to talk to my manager.
"Are you nervous?" Mrs. Nam asked.
"Really nervous... I can feel my heart thumping like crazy!" I laughed.
"It's normal to be nervous, I'm so proud of you for getting here especially since you only recently debuted!" She smiled and soothingly patted my back.
"Yujin and Jungwon, you can head up now." A lady said and Jungwon and I quickly headed up on stage.
Once the cameras started rolling, we got our cue.
"Music Bank!" We both started.
"Hi I am Universe's sunshine maknae, Yujin!" I started.
Jungwon giggled.
"Hi I am Enhypen's leader, Jungwon!" He continued.
"And we are your new mcs for Music Bank!" We said in unison, looking at each other.
I flipped to the next card.
"Ahh... Jungwon, don't we have something special for the fans today?" I asked.
"Oh, indeed we do!" He responded.
"Shall we show them what it is?" I replied.
"Of course! Let's go!" He exclaimed.

We got into position the music started to play.
His angelic vocals mixed with my honey sweet vocals made us the perfect duo for this song.
Our movements were slow and graceful, on beat with the music playing in the background.
Once the performance ended, we went backstage and were greeted with loud applause from the staff.
"Great job out there you two!" My manager congratulated while handing me a small bouquet of roses.
We were all smiles when we headed out to our rooms to change.
I was in my room taking a look at my phone when Jungwon came in and gave me a tight hug.
"Good job jinnie." He smiled and caressed my hair.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
"Your not yourself today..."I pulled away.
"Yujin, let me ask you..." He started and looked at me sincerely.
Did I do something?
"When was the last time we kissed?" He asked.
I laughed.
"I don't know?" I continued to laugh.
"See? Long overdue..."He said and pulled me close.
I pushed him away.
"Yah! Not here! Someone will see us!" I warned and ran away to change.
I placed a finger on my lip, I was after all missing the feeling.

I was lying on Yannie's lap when Jieun squealed.
"What's up?" I asked.
"I think I'm destined to love!" She smiled.
"Very funny..." Aureum stated.
"I'm serious! I might get a sweater this year!" She scoffed.
We all stared at her blankly.
"3rd December?" She got up.
"Ohh..." We said in unison.
"You amateurs won't understand anything about love!" She laughed and left.
"Sorry Jieun, but your wrong this time around..." I thought and smiled to myself.
"Who do you think it is though?" Auereum asked.
"She did mention that she doesn't date younger guys..." Minju sighed.
"That eliminates half of Enhypen." Yannie said.
"I think it's someone from Enhypen!" Auereum suggested.
"You may be right! We haven't really met any other groups yet." I added.
"We have 4 options! Jake, Jay, Heeseung and Sunghoon sunbae!" Minju listed.
"I doubt it's Sunghoon, he's only like 5 days older than her." Yannie said.
I nodded.
"So just 3?" Minju said.
"Bets on Jake!" I shouted.
Yannie slapped my head.
"People are not bets young lady!" She scolded.
I groaned.
"Do you like anyone?" Minju asked.
"What's up with the sudden question?" I quickly responded.
"I don't know... I'm just curious?" She shrugged.
"No for me!" Yannie responded.
"Don't like anyone!" I quickly answered.
"Me neither, what about you, Minju?" Aureum pointed the question to her.
"Well... There is a someone..." She started and fiddled with her fingers.
"Who is it?" I asked and got up.
"Well it's..." She continued.

"Jungwon sunbae!" She blushed and covered her cheeks.
"Oh fu-" I thought.
"Wow! leader-leader couple!" Aureum laughed.
Minju blushed.

I was practising the choreography for our comeback when Jungwon walked in.
"Hey you..." He smiled and placed his bag down.
I smiled and ran to him.
He turned to his bag and pulled out a blue hoodie.
"You should change to this, your all wet." He smiled and handed me the hoodie.
I took it and placed it in my bag.
"I'll change later." I smiled and ruffled his hair.
He pulled me close.
"Let go! We might get caught! And I'm wet!" I scolded.
He pouted his lip.
"Kiss first." He mumbled.
"No! We'll get caught!" I hit his arm.
He whined.
I gave in and cupped his face before giving him a quick peck.
"Better?" I asked.
He nodded and let go of me.
I pinched his cheeks before taking the hoodie to change.
Jungwon POV
I was sitting in the dance room waiting for Yujin when the door opened.
"Oh? Sunbae!" The voice greeted.
l looked up to see Minju standing in the doorway.
"Oh hi Minju!" I smiled and stood up.
"Why are you here sunbae?" She asked.
There was no way I could tell her I was here for Yujin.
"I uhm... I was practising! I'm just taking a break right now." I lied.
"Oh... I see!" She smiled and walked in.
"Woah... I never realised how deep your dimples were! Their so cute!" She commented as she walked closer to me.
"Oh uh thanks?" I laughed awkwardly.
She turned her head.
"Oh? Why is Yujin's bag here?" She asked.
"Oh... It is?" I smiled.
Just then, Yujin walked in.
She looked at me then at Minju.
"Oh unnie! I think someone is looking for you!" She said quickly.
"Oh really?" Minju responded before rushing out.
Yujin did a punch threat to the door and cursed under her breath as she left.
I laughed at her cuteness.
She huffed before walking to her bag and placed her dirty shirt inside.
She took a deep breath and looked at me with a dead expression.
I shivered but ignored it.

Yujin POV
We were on the set of knowing bros and we were shot with a question that triggered me.
"So, what is your ideal type?"
I looked at Aureum who was going first.
"I like someone who is tall, kind and caring!" She smiled.
Next in line was Yannie.
"I like someone who takes care of me." She turned to look at Jieun who was next.
"I think I like someone who has dimples and a cute face." She laughed.
Next was Minju.
I glared at her.
"I like someone who has dimples, a cute face and rosy cheeks!" She laughed and looked at me.
I snapped out of it.
"Oh I like someone who is loving, cute and caring." I smiled at the reminders of Jungwon.

I plopped my bag on the bed and flopped onto it.
I buried my head in to the pillow and screamed softly.
Once I pulled away, I ran my hand through my hair.
"Gosh I can't stand this!" I thought and kicked my legs.
My door suddenly swung open.
It was Jieun who was texting and giggling.
"You want ice cream?" She asked.
"I could definitely use some." I sighed and stood up.
I walked out to see a few alcohol bottles scattered across the table as Yannie laid out snacks.
"Your drinking all of that?" I asked.
"The 4 of us are, wanna join?" She asked.
"She's not 18 yet! Are you insane?" Aureum slapped Yannie's back.
"Right..." She laughed.
"She can have one shot right? It won't hurt." Jieun asked.
"No! Not even a single drop!" Aureum scolded.
"You stick to ice cream missy." Aureum smiled as she pulled out a few ice creams from the freezer.

Once I was done with my ice cream, I headed back into my room.
I took my phone out of its charger and saw the missed calls from Jungwon.
I quickly called him back.
"Thank goodness you picked up! I was worried!" He smiled.
I smiled.
"How are you?" He asked.
"Good!" I smiled.
He nodded.
"Have you eaten?" I asked.
"Yep!" He said.
I head the door open from his end.
"Jungwon-ah!" The voice called.
"Oh hyung!" He smiled.
I heard the door close.
"Who are you talking to?" The voice asked again.
"Yujin." He said and moved his phone so that the screen was facing the owner of the voice.
"Hi sunbae!" I smiled at the sight of Sunoo.
I saw him lift his hand and tap on the screen.
"That's kinda cringy you think?" He asked.
"What is?" Jungwon and I both said in unison.
"Why do you label her that?" He asked again.
Jungwon turned the screen to now be facing him.
"What's wrong with it?" He asked.
"It gives me shivers when I read it." He laughed.
I stared blankly at the screen.
"And if you ever happen to leave your phone somewhere, your doomed." Sunoo said.
"Oh." Jungwon let out.
Sunoo laughed before I hear the door open and shut.
I laughed.
"What do you label me as?" I asked out of curiosity.
"It's a secret." He shushed.

Jungwon and I were talking when my room door opened.
"Wah!" Minju let out as she fell to the ground.
She held onto the alcohol bottle tightly as she laid in silence.
"Give me a moment." I smiled and placed my phone on the bed as Jungwon muted his microphone.
I got down from my bed and went to Minju's side.
"Unnie!" I said while shaking her.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Better than ever!" She laughed.
"I drowned all my feelings!" She laughed.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
She mumbled something before she started to sob.
I stared at her, unsure what to do.
"I'm single!" She sobbed.
I took a box of tissues and handed it to her.
"If only these tissues were Jungwon!" She sobbed louder.
I stared at her, cringing, forgetting that I was on a phone call with that exact person.
Jungwon POV
I almost choked on my water when I heard that.
I stared blankly at my phone screen as I continued to listen to the bizarre conversation that was going on.
"Unnie, your drunk." Yujin laughed.
"I'm not drunk! I'm in love!" Minju sobbed.
"One-sided love that is." Yujin scoffed.
I giggled.
"I like Yang Jungwon!" Minju cried.
"He doesn't like you miss." Yujin responded.
Minju started to sob even louder.
"I HAVE A CRUSH ON YANG JUNGWON!" She sobbed loudly before I heard a soft bang.
"Unnie are you okay?" Yujin quickly asked.
"I'm not gonna be okay unless I find out if Jungwon likes me!" She cried out.
"Oh..." Yujin sighed.
"I will chase after him for as long as it takes!" She continued.
"I see..." Yujin said softly, her voice quivering.
"There will be no one stopping me!" Minju said.
Yujin sniffled.
"HE WILL BE MINE!" Minju shouted.
"Enough, we might get a noise complaint because of you." Yujin sniffed.
I sighed.
Yujin POV
Getting a noise complaint wasn't the only reason why I wanted Minju to stop.
I didn't want to hear it anymore.
I went out of my room to see 2 of the 3 passed out on the table.
Jieun noticed me.
"Yujin-ah! Why are you crying?" Jieun quickly came to my side.
She was clearly sober.
"It's nothing! I just wanted to check on you guys!" I laughed and wiped away a tear.
"Is it because of what Minju said?" She asked.
