Chapter 21

Yujin POV
I huffed as I finished up my skincare.
I was about to open the door of Jungwon's room when I heard faint talking.
"So you planning things with Yujin soon?"
"I don't know, we've only been together for what... 5 months? I don't want to take things too quickly."
"Your right..."
"But I was thinking about..."
"About what?"
"What?"
"Tell us!!"
"Never mind..."
"Are you kidding?"

Yujin POV
I roughly practiced on the spot while my hair was being done when Jungwon walked in.
"Hey!" He chirped.
"I brought you guys coffee since today is my last stage." He laughed, setting down 2 bags with different coffees in them.
"Sunbae your the best!" Yannie exclaimed as she walked across the room to grab her phone.
He laughed and turned to me with a separate cup in his hands.
"And iced earl grey tea, no sugar; for you." He smiled, handing the cup to me.
"Thank you!" I smiled, taking the cup as Ms Seo finished up my hair.
Suddenly, we heard a knock at the door.
"Who is it?" Jieun shouted.
"Eunchae! May I come in?"
We all gasped, she must be here for filming.
"One second!" I shouted, all of us scrambling to tidy up the room.
Jungwon quickly ran out of the room leaving us behind.
And before we knew it, we were tossing things across the room to each other to clean up the place.
"Yujin come here!"
"Yujin over here!"
"Up top!"
"Yujin! Go grab that!"
"Yujin! Come and take this from me!"
"Yujin go there!"
"Yujin go throw this out!"
Why were they making me run all over the place?

I was walking out of the building with my group when enhypen appeared behind us.
I turned around to see Jungwon smiling at me and I happily grabbed his hand.
Since Jungwon and I had made plans, our managers allowed us to sit in a separate car.
I watched as Aureum, Jieun and Yannie went in one car and Minju in another before hopping into mine along with Jungwon.
I sighed and placed my bag on my lap.
"You okay?" Jungwon asked, placing a hand on my shoulder.
I nodded.
"Just tired..." I yawned.
"Why is that so?" He laughed.
"My unnies kept making me run across the room earlier..." I huffed.
He squeezed my shoulder reassuringly.
"Take a nap, I'll wake you up when were there." He smiled.
"Really?" I smiled as he nodded.
"Your the best!" I laughed before quickly dozing off.

Jungwon POV
I looked behind to see that we weren't far from where we had just left.
Excitedly, I tapped a location on my phone and showed it to the driver.
"Do you mind bringing us here instead?" I asked.
He nodded in response before changing the location on the gps.

"Were almost there." The driver said, looking in the mirror.
"Thanks!" I smiled before turning back to Yujin who was passed out.
"Yujin?" I said softly, tapping her shoulder.
Right...
I huffed and took out a cream bun before tearing it in half, exposing the cream.
I took a bite in one of the halves and put the other near Yujin's nose.
Not long after, her eyes opened at the smell of fresh cream.
I laughed as she took the bun into her grip and took a bite.
"Were almost there." I said, ruffling her hair.
She nodded silently, staring into blank space as she took another bite.

The car halted and I thanked the driver before we headed out.
"Where are we? I thought were going to the beach?" Yujin laughed, stuffing the rest of the bread in her mouth.
"You'll see!" I laughed, lacing my hand with hers as we made our way across a small wooden bridge that allowed us to cross the tiny river.
We walked uphill, admiring the view.
Pink cherry blossoms that were covering the place, the beautiful sun making it seem like a dream.
We eventually reached our destination, the top of the hill, allowing us to overlook the whole place and at the same time, admiring the view.
I nervously checked my phone for the time as Yujin admired the place.
The pink checkered picnic mat on the floor paired with a classic yet cute wooden picnic basket stuffed with all kinds of food and snacks, and beside it lying a bouquet of roses.
"5.50"
Which means I had to get started.
She was busy admiring the view when I took out the box along with the bouquet of roses lying next to the picnic bag.
"Yujin..." I called out in a soft spoken voice.
"Hmm?" She hummed, turning to face me.
I smiled as the sunlight hit her face, enhancing her beautiful brown eyes.
"I know I've given you this before but since we are trying us out for a second time, I wanted to give this to you. Officially." I smiled, opening up the small box to reveal our promise rings.
"But..." She huffed.
"New beginning, new us, new promises and new rings. I really want to make this commitment." I blurted out.
She smiled and nodded.
"I'm ready too, for a new us." She laughed, holding out her hand.
I smiled before sliding the ring onto her finger.
She admired it for a while before I pulled her close and kissed her.
It was sweet and precious, a cherish-able memory that I won't forget.
I laughed as she pulled away, her arms still hanging on my shoulder.
"I promise you the world love." I smiled, my arms still wrapped around her waist.
She laughed before pulling me into a hug.
"You might wanna check the time..." I laughed.
"What?" She said, quickly pulling out her phone to check the time.
"5.53"
"You did not..." She let out.

Yujin POV
"We should make insta accounts!" I suggested.
"Sure!" Jungwon responded, pulling out his phone.
"Will your manager allow it though?" I asked, not wanting to get him into trouble.
"I don't see why not to be honest." He laughed.
And with that, the two of us set up our respective instagram accounts and did what we needed to do to make it known.
"Which ones should I do?" I asked, showing Jungwon all the pictures on my phone.
"This, this, this, this and this!" He smiled, selecting all the pictures he thought looked nice.
"Tag me!" He laughed as he selected the photos he wanted that were on his device.
"Let's do it at the same time!" I laughed and he quickly nodded his head in agreement.
"3..." We said in unison.
"2...."
"1!" We exclaimed and quickly pressed the post button.
We smiled in satisfaction as both posts got posted.
"Let's eat, I'm hungry!" I huffed before taking the basket.

The two of us walked slowly, hand in hand.
Since my dorm was near where we had gone, the two of us decided to walk back in order not to trouble others.
"Thank you for today." I smiled.
"No problem, I'm glad you liked it." He laughed.
We walked in silence for a while until we eventually reached the apartment block.
"I'll walk you up." Jungwon smiled as he brought me up to my doorstep.
"You roses." He smiled, passing the bouquet to me.
"Thank you for today, really." I repeated.
"It's no problem. I'm glad I could do this for you." He smiled, taking my hand to his.
And with that, I impulsively grabbed his cheeks and pulled him close.
He laughed before wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing me once more.
He moved his hands to the small of my back, pulling me even closer to kiss me deeper.
He eventually pulled away and smiled at me, my lipstick all over his lips.
I laughed and wiped it away with my thumb.
"I love you." I let out.
He smiled at me, as if he had been waiting to hear those words for years.
"I love you too." He said, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
Just then the door opened.
I quickly turned around to see Aureum with a trash bag.
"Oh... Not the right timing huh..." She laughed awkwardly.
I nodded and ushered her back inside.
"Sorry, I think I should get going then." I smiled.
"Go in." He smiled.
I pulled away from his warm embrace and went in, waving at him before closing the door.

Jungwon POV
I laughed as I heard Yujin scolding Aureum for "ruining the moment".
I sighed before snapping a selfie and sending to her, letting her know that I was leaving.
