Chapter 13

Yujin POV
I woke up to find my phone missing.
"What the hell?" I gasped and frantically searched for it.
My phone was literally filled to the brim with secrets, I can NEVER lose that thing.
I went outside to see Jieun holding my phone.
"What are you doing with that?" I shouted and took it from her.
"I found it here, I was gonna give it to you." She huffed.
"Oh, sorry, thanks unnie." I smiled awkwardly and took the phone from her.
"Oh right, the thing..." I thought and rushed to my room.

I sat on the floor of the dance studio on my own as I stared into my reflection.
Just then, I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in!" I shouted and the door slowly opened.
"Hi~" Niki smiled, skipping in.
"Hey!" I smiled as he sat down beside me.
"I just came to let you know that the boys and I are having a Christmas party next week! You should totally come. It'll be lots of fun! Especially with you know who..." He smiled.
"I guess he hasn't told them." I thought.
I had to respect his decision.
"I'll surely be there!" I smiled.
"Great! See you!" He got up and skipped away.
"Oh wait!" I called out before he could leave.
"Hmm?" He asked, turning around.
"Can you pass this to Jungwon? Its a small present." I said and got up.
"Sure! Of course!" He smiled as I took the bag with all of Jungwon's hoodies and our couple ring in it.
He quickly took the bag and went on his way.

Jungwon POV
"Hyung!" Niki called out as he opened the door to the vocal room.
I took of my headphones and looked at him.
"Whats up?" I asked.
"Yujin told me to give this to you, its a present." He smiled and held out a large bag.
I gently took it from his hand and held onto the bag tightly.
"Thanks." I smiled and he left.
I opened the bag and lifted out the hoodies that laid in it.
All those that I gave her.
Below it was a box and beside it was Won.
Our couple ring.
I sighed and stuffed the hoodies back into the bag before tossing it aside onto the floor.
I rummaged through my bag and took out a bottle of water before gulping it down.

Yujin POV
I was slurping up some noodles at the nearby convenience store when the door flew open.
I turned my head to see Niki grabbing a basket.
Soon after he came and sat by me.
"Hey!" He smiled and opened up the packet of noodles.
I smiled before slurping up my noodles.
I swallowed them before responding with a 'hey'.
"What's up? You seem to be upset lately." He said as he poured the seasoning packets into the paper bowl.
I let out a heavy sigh and placed down my chopstick as he filled the paper bowl with boiling water at the ramen making device.
I turned to face him.
"It's just..." I groaned as he picked up a pair of chopsticks to stir the noodles.
He snapped it apart and turned his full attention to me.
"What's up? Is work too hard lately?" He spoke.
I just nodded although that wasn't the reason.
Well, not entirely.
"Same to be honest." He suddenly spoke, interrupting my train of thoughts.
He stood there for a while and stared at eachother awkwardly.
"Uhm..." I let out as he took his ramen off the machine.
He sat down by me as we continued to talk.

As we were talking, I saw the door open and the bell chime.
I looked at the person to see none other than Jake.
He grabbed a basket quickly and picked some items off the shelf before paying.
He was on his way to the table when he finally noticed us.
"Oh hey guys!" He smiled and waved.
I quickly stood up and bowed.
"Oh Yujin, since your here, do you mind if I talk to you later?" He asked, whispering the last few words.
I nodded and he smiled before going to make his food.
I didn't really think much about what Jake said throughout the rest of my meal, he seemed... happy?

I met up with Jake at the vocal room and sat down on the empty chair.
He quickly hung the headphones around his neck and smiled.
I awkwardly smiled back at him.
"What was it you wanted to talk to me about?" I asked.
"Oh uhm... well I just wanted to apologise for how I treated you, especially when I found out you two were dating. I didn't know what came over me at that point of time and I really wish you can forgive me for it." He quickly blurted out.
Without thinking, I stood up and pulled him in for a hug.
"Im glad to hear that." I smiled at patted his back.
I pulled away and smiled.
"I'm sure someone better is waiting for you out there." I gave him a pat on his shoulder and left.
I let out a sigh of relief as I shut the door and headed out.

One week later
I put on my best fit and checked myself through the mirror.
"Gosh I look fine." I smiled to myself as I snapped a few pictures on my phone.
I was going to a party after all, I had to dress to impress.
"Yujin! We have to go!" Yannie called out and I quickly took my santa hat hanging on the corner of my mirror along with my purse.
"Coming!" I shouted and rushed out of the room.

Jungwon POV
I threw on a shirt and ran a hand through my hair.
I looked at my reflection and clicked my tongue before grabbing my santa hat that was hanging on my clothes rack.
Once I was done, I grabbed my phone from the bed and headed out to welcome the guests who were on their way.

"Ding dong!" The doorbell chimed and I saw Niki quickly getting up from the couch to welcome our guest who were late.
"Hi hi! Come in!" He smiled as the guest entered and he closed the door behind them.
"Sorry that were really late, someone just had to stop at the convenience store first." Aureum smiled awkwardly.
"No worries! Have a seat." Jay said as he sipped on his drink.
The guest were made up of the girls from universe and old friends from high school.
Yunjin POV
I walked around the place, looking at all the unfamiliar faces.
Just then, I ran into Heeseung who was holding a drink.
"Sorry sunbae." I bowed.
"Do you want a drink?" He asked quickly, pointing at a wine bottle on the table.
"No it's okay, I can't drink yet." I smiled.
"Come on... It's Christmas! Have some fun! Even Niki is having a few." He laughed and pointed at Niki who was silently sitting on the ground, with a cup in his hands, staring in to space.
I laugh as he reached out for a cup on the table.
"It's just this once, we won't tell on you." He smiled and held out the drink.
I took it without another thought, I could use some of it afterall.

Jieun POV
"Yujin-ah..." I shook her, hoping the would wake up.
"Yujin-ah! We have to go!" I shook her harder.
"eugghmh..."
"Yujin... come on!" I shook her even harder.
"Aish... We have to get her home some how..." I groaned.
"How?" Aureum laughed.
"You can leave her here, don't worry about it." Sunoo laughed.
"You sure? Won't it be a trouble?" I asked, uncertain.
"I'm sure!" Sunoo smiled before winking at me.
"So he knew..." I smiled.
"Sure then, we'll get going! See you!" I smiled as the girls and I walked out.

Jungwon POV
I shut the door to Niki's room.
"Who let him drink!" I grumbled and walked to the living room.
All the guests had already left except one.
I saw Yujin knocked out on the chair and sighed.
"Bring her to your room." Sunoo said, nudging my shoulder.
"Why?" I asked.
"Do you not want to get back together or something?" He scoffed.
"Your choice." He continued before walking away.
I huffed and looked around for her bag.
I couldn't just let her sleep here like that.
I found her bag on the ground and hung it around my shoulder.
I carefully picked her up and brought her to my room.
She let out a soft groan before wrapping her arms around my neck.
I blushed.
And then I heard sniffling.
I stopped.
"Won...I'm sorry" She let out softly.
"Won? As in... me?" I thought.
I looked down at Yujin who's face was now buried in my chest.
I gulped as she tightened the grip around my neck and continued walking.
If only she was sober.
I pushed open the door and went in.
I placed her bag on the ground and carefully lowered her onto the bed.
I sighed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

Yujin POV
I woke up on a soft bed and looked around.
Wait...
This isn't my dorm room...
Just then, someone came out of the bathroom.
I let out a high pitch scream and the person quickly covered their ears.
"Who are you!" I screamed.
I looked up.
Jungwon just stared at me blankly.
I looked around the room.
Familiar...
"Oh shit." I let out and instantly covered my mouth upon realising what I said.
I fumbled out of the bed and grabbed my bag.
"Where are you going!"Jungwon stopped me at the door.
"Sorry, I just don't think its really appropriate of me to be staying here." I laughed awkwardly.
"It's too late out right now, you should stay, its fine." He reassured.
I gulped, only now realising how close he was to me.
His hand on the door and my back almost touching it.
I felt my heart rapidly pounding.
All my efforts to fall out of love with him has clearly failed.
I saw him looking at my lips, his face red.
I stared back at him, he looked perfect.
I stared at him for a bit, not being in my right mind, I grabbed his cheeks and kissed him.
The moment I pulled away, he looked at me in shock.
Realising what I had done, I silently gasped.
"Damn." Was all I could let out.
What the hell, Yujin?
I saw his cheeks flush red and he quickly turned away.
"I... uhm..." He giggled as he rubbed the back of his head with his hand.
My face turned red and I scratched my head.
Jungwon turned back around and smiled at me awkwardly.
"I guess it's a new beginning for us?" He let out.
