Chapter 08

The next day

Yujin POV
I let out a groan as I stretched out my arms.
I opened my eyes and looked around to find Jungwon still fast asleep.
I picked up my phone and checked the time.
"2p.m.?" I yelped.
How did I sleep so long?
Jungwon let out a groan as he shifted to face the other side.
I smiled and got out of bed.
I headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth, remembering about the spare toothbrush.
I smiled as I saw it laying in its own cup.
"He even bought a cup..." I thought and picked it up.
I inspected the mug to see a small inprint of my name on the cup.
While I was brushing my teeth, I saw Jungwon walk by me with a shirt in his hands and I saw him start taking off his hoodie.
"Yah! YAH! YAH!" I shouted muffledly as he continued taking off his hoodie, exposing his back.
He quickly turned around and I covered my eyes.
"Sorry, I didn't know you were in here." He laughed and headed out.
I quickly spat out my toothpaste and groaned.
I looked up at the mirror to see that my face was flush red.
"Are you out of your mind Yujin?" I thought.
Once I was done, I opened the door to head out to make some breakfast for both Jungwon and I, thinking that the others had all gone to HYBE already.
To my surprise, I walked out to see Sunoo drinking a glass of water and 4 of the other members watching TV.
"Oh? Don't you guys have training today?" I asked.
"We only have a enoclock shoot at 4." Sunghoon replied, his face still focused on the TV.
"Where's Jake?" I asked.
"He went to the gym, do you need something to eat? I can make some food for you?" Jay asked.
"It's alright, you guys continue on, I will be doing my own things, thank you!" I bowed and headed to the kitchen.
As I was pouring a glass of water, I felt two arms wrap around my waist.
I turned my head to see Jungwon's chin resting on my shoulder.
"You hungry?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Mmm... I can make you a sandwich? How does that sound?" He asked.
I smiled and turned around.
"I'll eat whatever you make." I laughed and ran my fingers through his hair.
He giggled and pulled me close, his firm arms tight around my waist.
"Please get a room." A voice said.
We turned to the door to see Niki standing in the doorway.
"I just turned 17, If this is your birthday present to me, I don't want it."He sighed.
"I never said this was your birthday present and plus I already gave you one." Jungwon teased.
"I'm thirsty." He coughed, changing the topic.
Jungwon gave me a quick peck and went to go grab the bread.
"Ew, gross!" Niki groaned before quickly leaving the kitchen.
I giggled and headed out of the kitchen as Jungwon attempted to complete his mission of making a sandwich.

I saw Jungwon come out of the kitchen with two plates of sandwiches.
"Cool, right?" He smiled and sat down.
I nodded as he placed one plate infront of me.
"Try it." He smiled.
I took the sandwich off the plate and inched it closer to my mouth.
I took a bite out of it and started to chew.
"How is it?" He asked.
I nodded my head and swallowed my food.
"It's amazing!" I smiled.
"You think so?" He asked and took a bite of his sandwich.
"It really is good!" He smiled and took another bite.
"Well you better eat up, you have filming today." I smiled.
He nodded as he continued to munch on his sandwich.
As I placed the other half of my sandwich onto his plate, his phone started to ring.
"It's my manager, give me a sec." He said, holding his phone up to his ear and walking off to his room.

Jungwon POV
"What's up hyung?" I started.
"I wanna get this done and over with... the wonyoung thing... is it true?"
"No, of course not! The last time we talked is probably at inkigayo..." I laughed.
"Okay great, be at HYBE by 3."
"You got it!" I laughed as I heard the beeping sound.
I sighed and went back to the dining table where Yujin was.

Yujin POV
"Bye!" I waved as the Enhypen members walked out of the door.
I had stayed behind to help them clean up the dorm.
I put on my earpiece and turned on some music.
"Got me like yeah..." I sang.
First was the kitchen.
I headed to the kitchen to see a pile of dishes in the sink.
"So much for sandwiches..." I sighed and began washing.
Since I had told my unnies that I was not going for training, I might as well stay here to mark my words.

Once I was done with the kitchen, I moved on to the living room.
The coffee table was filled with opened bags of snacks.
I sighed and took the bags before tying them up.

Then, it was the dining area.
There was still some food crumbs left behind from the meal Jungwon and I had.
I quickly wiped up the table and pushed in the chairs.

Then, it was time to make some beds.
One by one, I entered each room to see 2 out of the 7 beds already made.

Jungwon POV
"Alright boys, You guys have to split into teams of 3 and 4." announced the director.
I took my chance.
"I wanna be with Sunoo and Niki!" I said and raised up my hand.
"Okay then, so the first group will be Jungwon, Sunoo and Niki and the second will be Jay, Jake, Sunghoon and Heeseung..."

Yujin POV
Once I was done wiping up the place, I flopped onto the couch.
"I'm truly wifey material." I sighed in satisfaction.
Just then, the door opened.
I saw the members enter one by one.
"Have I been here for that long?" I thought and stood up.
"Why does the dorm feel different?" Sunghoon asked.
"It feels... weird..."Niki sighed as he looked around.
"Yujin, your still here?" Jay asked.
"Uhm, I just cleaned up the place a bit, I didn't know it would take me so long..." I laughed.
"Yujin-ah, you did an amazing job!" Sunoo commented as he looked around the place in awe.
"You should wife her up, Jungwon!" Sunoo teased.
I laughed at the comment.
"I'm 18, hyung." Jungwon replied vaguely.
Such a buzz-kill...
"Anyways, I'll get going, thanks for letting me stay for a bit, I know it was sudden." I bowed.
"Are you not going to stay for dinner or something?" Sunghoon asked.
"I think I have stayed long enough, I'll get going, see you!" I smiled and headed to the door.
"Bye!" I waved at the members as I headed out the door.
"Bye!" They said as Jungwon followed me out the door.
"How was it?" I asked as he closed the door behind him.
"It was alright I guess..." He sighed and kicked at the rocks.
"You didn't make it obvious that you were upset at them right?" I asked.
"Not really..." He sighed.
"Well, you shouldn't be too upset yea? They were doing it for you and I'm sure it wasn't their intention to hurt you." I smiled and caressed his cheek.
He smiled at me.
"Dimples..." I smiled and poked at them.
He pulled me in for a quick hug.
"Do you want me to walk you home?" He asked.
"It's alright, I'm sure your tired." I smiled.
He nodded.
"I'll get going now!" I smiled and walked off slowly.
"Bye!" He waved back as I headed back to the dorm.

I opened the door to see the dorm in complete darkness.
"Is no one home?" I thought and turned the lights on.
I placed my bag on the couch and went to the kitchen to cook up a meal.
I took out a pot and filled it with water before turning on the heat.
I went to the cabinet and pulled out a pack of ramen along with an egg from the fridge.

I was slurping up my noodles when I received a text message from Jungwon.
I'm outside, let's make snow angels.
I squealed as I took the hint.
"It's snowing!"I laughed and took a winter jacket and mask from my room.
I ran back out of my room.
"Earmuffs!" I exclaimed and ran back in.
Jungwon POV
I laughed as I heard her squeal.
I knew she loved snow but I didn't know it was to that extent.
The door swung open and Yujin ran out the door before pulling me into a tight hug.
"Why did you come all the way here? I'm so touched." She laughed.
"I want to make snow angels." I laughed and took her hand in mind.
"Let's go!" I exclaimed and we headed to a nearby what was previously a grassy field to make snow angels.

"You know what would really fit the vibe right now?" She asked as we walked to our destination.
"What?" I asked.
She looked at me and smiled.
"TFW" She sighed.
I nodded.
"It does go with the vibe..." I smiled.
"We're here!"I exclaimed as I looked ahead.
"First there?" She asked.
"You bet!" I smiled and we both dashed towards the big patch of snow.
Yujin flopped into the snow and smiled.
I stood above her and reached out my hands.
She held onto them and got up.
"We have to make a snowman!" She laughed and headed to collect some snow.
I smiled as she tried to run across the snow, falling multiple times.
I pulled out my phone and started to film her in all her glory.
She dashed around, looking for materials to build the snowman.
Once she was done with almost everything, she ran up to me.
"Do you have a carrot with you? The snowman doesn't have a nose..." She asked, pointing to her unfinished snowman.
"I don't have a carrot with me, how about you give him a button nose?" I suggested.
"Okay!" She smiled and looked around for a stone to give the snowman a button nose.
She looked like a little kid at that moment, so innocent yet so vulnerable.
I laughed as she sat in the snow, finding the perfect stone among the ones she had collected.
I walked closer to her with my phone in my hands, still filming.
"Big stone or small stone?" I heard her mumble continuously as she looked at two different piles of stones.
I laughed which made her look up.
"Which one should I use?" She asked.
I squatted down and started fiddling with the different stones, picking the perfect one for the snowman.
"This one." I said as I pointed at a specific stone.
"Alright then!" She smiled and got up to place the stone on the snowman.
"Done!" She exclaimed and took out her phone.
She unlocked it and started to take some pictures.
"Come take some pictures with me!" She ushered.
I smiled and started posing for the camera.
"We should name it Jerry!" She suggested.
"Why Jerry?" I laughed.
"I've always wanted to name something Jerry, I guess it's my chance?" She giggled.
I laughed.
"He'll be our child then!" I smiled.
"Sure thing!" She exclaimed and laughed.
"Let's make snow angels now?" I suggested.
She nodded and we ran towards an open space to make snow angels.
I placed my phone on my scarf to let it stand, allowing us to film the moment while Yujin flopped onto the snow once again.
I ran towards her and followed.
She moved her arms and legs up and down, creating a snow angel as I did the same.
She stared up at the sky, mesmerised.
"Won..." She started.
"Hmm?" I let out.
"I think this just might be the best day of my life!"She squealed and continued swinging her arms and legs up and down as quickly as she could.
I smiled and got up, wanting to take some photos.
"Where's your phone?" I asked.
She quickly took it out of her pocket and handed it to me.
"Password?" I asked.
"Your birthday."She responded as she continued to make her snow angel bigger.
I smiled and unlocked her phone and started to snap some photos of my cutie.

We were on our way back as Yujin selected some photos to post on the group's Instagram account.
"Should I do this or this?" She asked, pointing to two photos.
"This one." I pointed to the second option which was of her giving Jerry a pat on his head.
"Alright then!" She smiled and tapped on the photo.
She started to type the description of the post and soon posted it.
She went on her personal account and started scrolling through some posts.
"You have your own account?" I asked.
She nodded.
"I had this before debut." She smiled at me.
"You don't have one?" She asked and fixed up strands of my hair.
"Of course I do!" I smiled proudly and pulled out my phone.
I showed her my account.
"Wah! You have a lot of friends huh?" She laughed.
She went to the search bar and searched for my username.
"I requested." She smiled and showed me her phone screen.
"So did I!" I laughed and tapped on the follow button.
She put away her phone and we continued walking back to her dorm.

"Bye..." She pouted and headed up to her apartment.

I got out of the lift and was headed to the dorm when I saw a figure of a man leaning on the wall.
Cautious, I pulled up the hood of my winter jacket.
I took slow steps in order not to be noticed.
I was walking past the man when I felt a harsh pull from my back.
I was pushed onto the wall.
"Don't touch me!" I winced.
He quickly pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed me in one of my legs.
I felt blood trickle down my leg.
"Quiet!" Demanded the man as he covered my mouth with his hand.
He held the pocket knife close to my neck.
"Say anything and you get it." He scoffed, pressing down on me harder.
I nodded, not wanting to be hurt any further.
I could barely stand up anymore.
He removed his hand that was covering my mouth and slowly moved his hand down where it wasn't supposed to be.
I winced, not knowing what to do.
I tried to push away but the man held on tighter.
"Please... stop..." I whispered.
"I won't tell the police, just please let go of me..." I continued.
"Shut up and let me do what I want." He scoffed.
I felt tears flow from my face.
I cried as the man continued, secretly hoping it wouldn't go any further than this.
Just then, the door to the stairs swung open to reveal Jungwon.
The man looked at the door and scoffed.
"Let go of her." Jungwon demanded.
"I do what I want." The man laughed, inching the knife closer to my neck, practically chocking me.
I could hardly breathe, I was gasping for air, unsure what to do.
Just then, Jungwon pounced on the man, causing the both of them to fall to the ground and for the man to drop his knife.
I dropped to the floor and started breathing heavily.
"Don't you know not to touch woman inappropriately without their permission? Especially minors? You p3d0ph!l3!" Jungwon shouted as he punched the man across his face multiple times.
"Let go of me you kid!" The man pushed Jungwon, causing him to fall onto the floor.
He quickly got up.
I reached out for the knife.
The man noticed and quickly got up.
Before Jungwon could stop him, the man kicked me down.
"A little brave?" He scoffed.
He continued to kick me as I laid on the floor.
Jungwon pounced on the man once again and grabbed the knife that was on the ground.
Jungwon held it close to the man's neck.
I heard the lift doors open and my unnies walked out.
Upon seeing the commotion, they all stood there in shock.
"Call the police!" Shouted Jieun.
Yannie pulled out her taser.
Jungwon turned around and saw the girls.
Yannie quickly ran up to Jungwon and stepped on the man's arm.
I felt Aureum's arms wrap around me as she sat me onto the wall.
I saw Jungwon get off the man before Yannie tased him.
"Crazy lunatic." She scoffed as she placed the taser back in her bag and kicked him.
"The police and ambulance should be here soon." Minju sighed.
I sat there dazed.
I felt... disgusting.
I'm disgusting.
I'm the most disgusting thing to exist.
"Yujin-ah!" I heard Jieun call out but it was all muffled.
"Yujinnie?" Yannie called out, once again muffled.
I heard a ringing in my ear.
"Yujin?" Aureum called out.
Muffled.
Then I passed out.
Jungwon POV (tw:bl- -d)
I looked at my hand which was now covered in blood.
I looked at Yujin's leg where my hand was previously placed and then at the knife on the floor.
The knife was covered in blood.
"I never stabbed the man?" I thought.
"Holy shit..." I let out at my sudden realisation.
"What is it?" Minju asked.
"Yujin is bleeding... I think she got stabbed..." I said and Yannie quickly ran into the house.
She came out with a few towels and started wrapping it around her leg to stop the bleeding.
"What happened sunbae?" Jieun asked.
I started sobbing.
"Yah! Sunbae!" Minju, who had been standing at the side, suddenly called out.
