Hey guys this is my second book. I'm very happy that I made another book. I'm sorry if there are so many mistakes(if there are pls tell me) and pls don't put bad comments about my story. Just give me me suggestions if you want. Don't criticize my story. And please DO NOT copy my story. I worked hard on this. I hear voices of children laughing and shouting in joy as they ran across the shore. The sands following their feet. Water splashing from one another. Oh what a lovely day it is.

I hid behind a big rock hiding me from their view. Far for them to see but close for me to hear and see them.

I smile silently as I see the kids I've been watching earlier make a castle using the sands. Every morning I would come here to visit the humans. I would watch them from afar. Humans are so interesting. My mother always tell stories about them when I was young. She told me how a merman fell in love with a human girl. I even told her that I want to marry a human. She just laughs it off.

I have collected all the books about them. But my favorite was 'The book of tales' because the book was full of mysteries about human beings. A sound startled my thoughts. I twirled around to see men in a what they call as a boat but us mermaids call it as a destructor. I dive on the sea floor as they pass the rock I was hiding. Once they were gone I quickly flick my tail to the side as I swim away. Back to my palace.
