Peter felt like the worst kind of absolute shit the next morning, until his mood took a complete 180 after remembering how well his ballsy move had worked. Suddenly he was smiling widely like an idiot as he dressed and packed his new bag for school. He almost forgot the strange weapon thing the first time he swung out the window, and thankfully had only gotten a few feet away when he turned around to get it.
Timothy was also in a chipper mood when he woke up at 5:30 insisting that they had to be at school an hour early, much to Michelle's chagrin. The entire morning he's had this large, toothy, shit-eating grin on his face. You could hear him humming a happy tune if you listened hard enough.
"Okay, I swear I heard it this time Timothy. What's up with you today?"
Timothy shrugged.
"I dunno, today just feels like it's going to be a good day."
"Uh-hu, sure, this has something to do with Spider-Man, doesn't it?"
"Nothing gets past you MJ." Timothy hummed in response.
"So what is it?"
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."
"Probably not, but I'm still interested."
Timothy chuckled.
"He visited last night."
"You're right, I don't believe you." MJ spoke sarcastically.
"Shut up and listen!" Timmy whined. She raised her hands up in defense. "Anyways, he visited last night to tell me something. It was a little akward, but im not complaining."
MJ snorted a laugh.
"Aw Timmy, how cute."
"You believe me though, right?"
"Yeah, but I like picking on you."
Timothy pouted.
"You're so mean."
When they finally reached Midtown high Timothy made an immediate break insisting that he had something important to do before class started.
Hastily he made his way down the hall, taking a quick left into the next one and giving it a brief once over. When he saw the person, he was looking for, a large smile grew onto his face, and he quickly made his way down the hall to meet up with him.
"Peter, don't look now, but someone you like is coming this way and I don't want you to freak out right now, okay?" Ned tried his best to inform, but Peter already felt his presence, even before Timothy called his name.
"Peter!"
But he hadn't expected what would come next.
"W-what are you doing?" He had managed to choke out, butterflies filling his stomach as his crush wrapped their arms around him. Quickly his brown orbs flicked over to Ned, who's own eyes were just as large as Peters.
The hug only lasted a couple seconds before Timothy pulled away, the smile never once leaving his face.
"Thank you." Was the only thing he said before he turned away and headed back the way he came, probably going to his locker, but why did Peter care about that? What did Timothy mean 'thank you?' He couldn't possibly know that Peter is Spiderman? So, what is he thanking him for?
"What was that about?" Ned's voice brought the flustered teen back to earth.
"Honestly?" Peter responded, "I have no idea... but I'm not complaining?"
"You better not be!" Ned scolded, exasperated, "he didn't even say hi to me!"
