'everything has been bliss. Today I am telling my dad that I am resigning. I have two job offers and I really like one of them. I will give him two weeks notice and no matter what, he won't talk me out of it. I think telling Maxwell and Sam will be the hardest. I can only imagine what they will say' "are you alright?" My position with beau is five days a week. Tuesday to Saturday. I want it and I can't have my dream if I don't chase it. I worked hard to get my scores to qualify in my dream job and I'm taking it" dad put his head down "why not work Mondays?" "It wasn't on offer" "I mean here. You always like Mondays. This job is always guaranteed jadee. I know we have a lot of differences but I still want you here. We don't have the relationship we used to and that's my fault I know that. You have scars on you from me. Just stay for Monday's. When is this job?" "Two weeks" dad nodded "I will find someone for Tuesday to Friday but I'd really like you to stay on Mondays" I swallowed hard "I will think about it. I need to get to work" placing my resignation on the desk, dad shook his head "I don't want it" I nodded and picked it back up. Exiting the office, I got in the elevator and headed to my station.
"A blank look. It's not good" "I tried to hand in my resignation" "YOU ARE LEAVING?" I sighed "I completed my course Maxwell. The job is Tuesday to Saturday. Dad wouldn't accept it.." "I'm not accepting it. I don't want to work with anyone else" I let a small laugh slip. "Dad said i should stay for Monday's" "well.. it is your favourite day and it may become mine if you choose to stay" "I need to speak with Austin" "why?" "He's my fiance. We make decisions together" "okay that's fair but look, he works Mondays.
