More than Friends

Chapter 42

She goes to open the door and see's Joanna

Jo: Hey Maya!

M: Oh hey Jo

Jo: Can I come in?

M: Um yea sure come on in

Jo: Is this Bryan and Eleanor?!

M: Yea

Jo: They are so adorable! Eleanor is the spitting image of Zach!

M: Thanks

Jo: Yea, um so you may be wondering why I'm here

M: Yea I kind of am 

Jo: Well I uh I heard about what happened between you and Jonah

M: Oh...

Jo: Yea and I want to say I am so sorry he did that to you and that he acted that way. I never thought he was capable of doing that especially to you...again I am so sorry he feels extremely horrible for doing that to you and to Zach

M: Oh, um well thanks Jo it means a lot coming from you and yea it was really weird why he did that...

Jo: Has he ever acted like towards you or anyone in the past like he ever showed any affection to anybody as if he liked the person?

M: Well, on my birthday everybody was drunk and so I had to take them to their rooms and when I took Jonah, he told me he liked me and then he wanted things to happen, but I thought maybe he thought I was Arianna-

Jo: Why did you think he thought you were Arianna?

M: Because he asked me if I was her and so then he held onto me super tight which kind of hurt but I was able to leave before anything happened

Jo: Hmm maybe he was hung over?

M: I don't know but the next day when he did what he did he threw me to the ground which hurt bad and made my arm sore and then there's a huge bruise on it too

Jo: I'm so sorry Maya, can I see how bad the bruise is?

M: Yea.

She rolled up her sleeve and showed the bruise Jonah left on her 

Jo: Does, does anyone else know about the bruise? 

M: No 

Jo: Does Zach at least know about it?

M: NO! If he saw it he would flip out and then cause more things to happen and I don't want to worsen it at all so can you keep this between you and me please?

Jo: Yes of course

M: Thanks

Jo: I um I wanted to come and apologize here for Jonah he hasn't been himself and like I said he feels horrible and hope you all can forgive him 

m: Yea I don't know it may take some time but thank you Joanna

Jo: Yea I'll see you soon Maya

M: Bye Jo

Jo: Bye Mai

Maya shows her to the door and then Joanna leaves and she goes back to Bryan and Eleanor and for the rest of the day Maya plays with the kids and takes care of them while everybody arrived in Seattle

Z: Guyssss!!!!!!

C: What Zach?

Z: Where's my phone!!!

Ja: I don't know

D: Where was the last time you saw it?

G: Or left it?
