Chapter 44

Maya goes to pick up the kids and then heads home and makes dinner. you know just the same routine as always after dinner she puts the kids to sleep then cleans up and remembers she has to call Zach and it was as if he had the same idea because when she went to call him, he called her

M: Hi Z!

Z: Hey Mai! How was your day?

M: Complicated but I have good news!

Z: What is it?

M: So, Harper pulled me aside today and told me that I got an interview from the people from The Internet's Most Researched Question or something like that!

Z: That's great! I'm so proud of you Maya! 

M: Thank you but there's a catch 

Z: Oh?

M: Yea so in order for me to actually take this interview, I have to leave Saturday in the morning...

Z: But we don't get back till Monday evening what about the kids?

M: Which is what I was going to ask you what you think...

Z: What about?

M: What if Laila takes care of them for the weekend and when you guys come back you can go get them because I'm going to be gone up until Tuesday night and I wanted to run this by you that way you know and if not then...

Z: I think it should be ok but is Laila Ok with it?

M: I don't know I would have to ask her 

Z: Make sure you do that way she knows that we're gonna go get them on Monday 

M: Yea I will but other than that it was a good day today

Z: I'm glad to hear

m; And for you guys? How was it?

Z: It was just a normal day. Did you see the interview from today yet?

M: Yea I did 

Z: Yea so we need a date planned!

M: I know! I can't wait 

Z: When do you think is a good time 

M: Well it has to give us time to plan it and get everything ready and Gianna and Daniel want theirs in the fall and if we do ours in the summer then that would give us 6 months from when you guys get back from tour

Z: Do you think that would give us enough time for everything?

M: I think so 

Z: Yea ok then let's do it in July?

M: Yes! 

They keep talking for a few more hours and then end up falling asleep on the call (Something I've done with my friends but then they all left and left me there but I mean whatever) 

-Skip to Saturday-

M: Thank you so much Laila! You don't know how much you are helping me right now!

L: Of course Maya, I'm glad I could help 

M: Thanks again 

L: Yea so when is Zach supposed to get the kids again?

M: Monday night he should pass by and get them 

L: Alright, have fun and good luck Maya! 

M: Thanks! 

She says goodbye to Eleanor and Bryan and then meets Harper at the airport

H: Finally Maya! We are so behind schedule!
