Ambers POV

I woke in the morning alone. I sighed sadly, the way I felt when I was in Harry's arms was indescribable. I felt safe and loved. Finally, I sat up and glanced at the clock. 12:36pm. Fuck. I missed my morning watch. This wasn't just a job where I could call in sick or skip a shift.

I quickly jumped out of bed and had a quick shower. I changed back into my gear and was about to leave when I saw a note on the table.

'I found yesterday quite entertaining. Let's do it again sometime.'

I frowned. Did Harry write this? He must've. But was he mocking me? It almost looked like he was making fun of me opening up to him. Now I'm not one of those girls who doesn't speak to the person until they confess or whatever. I like to get things sorted. So I'll probably just drop it subtly into a conversation.

I walked out of the room and down the familiar hallways to the main operations centre. As I stepped inside, I saw Zayn and a couple of staff talking seriously.

Zayn notices me and turns to me with a smile, "Ah, Amber. I hope you're feeling relaxed." He said and I nodded,

"I'm sorry I missed my morning shift, it'll never happen again." I started to explain but he cut me off

"It's ok. Harry explained everything." Zayn said and I frowned. Did he tell them all about my family?

"What did he tell you." I ask

"How whatever the man said triggered something and you suffered a small panic attack." Zayn explains and I raise my eyebrow

"Panic attack?!" I ask, "it wasn't a panic attack."

"Whatever. We got someone to cover your shift." Zayn raised an eyebrow, "But that's only because you're our most valued agent and we need you in perfect health and clear mind so don't expect rests everyday."

I nodded, "I understand completely. do you happen to know where I am meant to be right now?"

"Yeah you should probably be waiting outside the Presidents office in about 10 minutes." He told me and I smiled.

"Thanks." I said and turned out the room, heading towards the president's office.

I saw Harry's familiar curly locks held back by a bandana and smiled. He heard me approaching and turned to me with a smile.

"Hey Amber." He greets me and I smile, "Are you okay and all..."

I nod, "yeah I'm fine."

"Sorry I didn't leave you a note or anything, you were probably stressed when you woke up." He chuckled, but I bit my lip in confusion.

"Oh, there was no note?" I asked for confirmation and he looked at me strangely.
