I have finished unpacking, unlike Enid. It is true that she has more belongings than I do, but that is not an excuse for her being slow. She is arranging all her stuffed animals by the window, leaving her favorite ones for her bed. Thing is putting extra pillows on the bed. I never understood how one could sleep with so many things near their body, but that, of course, could lead to suffocation which isn't so bad after all.

"Wednesday, could you please stop staring and help me?" Enid said.

"I could, but I am trying to stay as far as I can from your side of the room. I'm afraid that if I get any closer I'll cover up your pink carpet with my green vomit. Plus, I enjoy watching you struggle." I replied keeping my usual cool. Enid gave me a sarcastic smile and then she went back to her stuffed animals.

A small, shy knock was heard from behind the door of our dorm. Enid and I looked at each other, both wondering who it might be. Usually, around this hour, Ms. Thornhill would come in to check on us, but for obvious reasons, it wasn't the case.

I approached the door at my usual walking pace. Being confused should never be mistaken for being scared. I opened the door to see an old lady. Her back was crooked and her hands were all wrinkly. Her long, thin hair was put up in a bun. She was quite the sight, but the thing making her the hardest to miss were her comically large pink glasses.

"Oh, hello darling! You must be Enid Sinclair, although she was described to be as more... bright." the old lady said. My everyday frown turned into a look of pure disgust. Did she just say I was Enid?

"I am Wednesday. She is Enid." I said, moving out of the way so the lady could see Enid. "And who are you?"

"Right. I am Agatha Bocker, your new dorm mom. I'm sure you are aware of the misfortunes that happened last semester. Because of that, there are a few new rules you need to follow: You need to be in your dorms at 10:30 PM, your dorms will be cleaned and checked for suspicious behavior every week on Wednesdays, and most importantly, a rule that I suggested, no boys." I couldn't help but notice how proudly old Agatha said that last part. Fortunately, that won't be a problem on my side.

Agatha left our room. I went to go change into my sleeping gown. Enid was supposed to go to her stuffed animals, but instead she started complaining.

"No boys? What is this, the 1600s? Oh no... what about Ajax? Are the boys allowed with girls? When am I going to see him?" She kept on blabbing about her stupid teen romance. I would usually fire back with a few words but I couldn't be bothered. Even I get tired sometimes, although it is unusual.

All lights are off. This was a sign that I should sleep. Enid was faintly growling in her sleep which I got used to. In the Addams house there is no noise during the night because there are only six of us, but only four that have the ability to speak. When I came to Nevermore, the night was flooded with noise. The first few nights here I could barely sleep, so, like an animal, I adapted to the environment and developed the ability to cancel out all my thoughts and distractions and simply drift away into a coma-like sleep. It worked like a charm every time and before I knew it, I was no longer awake.

I woke up in a dream. I don't like dreaming because I am not in control of my body. It's a rare occasion that I lucid dream and I don't like that either because I know I'm not truly in control of my body, because if I was I could wake up. But this wasn't a dream... I could feel my body. It wasn't lucid either, it felt too real. My head felt heavier on my pillow yet somehow I felt as if I was floating. These are all easily recognizable symptoms that I was having a vision. It's strange... I have never had one in my sleep before. I was fully aware of my body and surroundings. I was at Nevermore. I started questioning if this was just a nightmare, but I soon realized it wasn't because I was all by myself in the school's eating area I like to call a Pentagon. I walked around, trying to see why I was having this vision, but there were no clues. Everything looked the same. Maybe my body induced me into an accidental vision. It could happen due to hormonal imbalances. But then I felt something. It was staring at me. It started moving but I couldn't.

"Show yourself!" I said.

Suddenly, a figure appeared in front of me. I couldn't see its face, it was all blurry and it had no features so I moved on to its body, trying to identify who or what it was. I could define the body of a woman in the school's uniform. I started to feel my muscles again so I went to grab the figure's face, but right then, I snapped back to reality.
