Slut? That's me!

We got to the school gates. It was still very dark out and it started raining not too long ago. Daniel drove me and Wednesday back. When she got in the car, his face became white. I couldn't help but laugh at how scared he was of Wednesday. After a few minutes, they started talking and they both realized they despise each other. I was a bit disappointed but Daniel can be very annoying at times, so I don't blame Wednesday.

When we got out of the car, I looked at my phone to see that it was 9:55. We had five minutes until Miss Agatha came to check our dorms and see that we were not there. Me and Wednesday didn't waste any time and we immediately started running towards the school.

We got to our dorms and I waited to see that Wednesday went in safely. She entered her dorm but left the door open and turned around to look at me. I saw Enid sitting on her bed, waving at me. I waved back and then I looked at my phone. It was 9:58. I still had a bit of time to say goodbye to Wednesday.

"Thank you for tonight." Wednesday said. I could see the muscles in her face relax and her kind stare came back. It seems like tonight I've seen the kindest side of her and I loved every part of it.

"You're welcome." I smiled. "I had a great time with you." I continued. We both looked at each other. I knew something was going to happen, but neither of us wanted Enid to see it.

Wednesday stepped outside, closing the door behind her. She took my face in her hands and pulled my it into hers. With my hands on her hips, I kissed her back and we just stayed there, in the good-night kiss for a few seconds.

And then we heard a gasp.

"What is this- I can't even... Both of you, to your rooms! Now!" Miss Agatha yelled. Wednesday went to her room and before closing the door, she gave me a smirk. It wasn't exactly a smile but a win is a win.

"Enough you two!" Miss Agatha said and pushed me into my room.

"I will talk to you about this, but in the morning, now it's too late. Tell your little girlfriend to come as well. I've had enough of this "LGB-ABC" crap! No boys means no boys!"

"But... Wednesday is not a boy." I smirked.

"No boys and no girls! Go now! Hush! It's bedtime." Miss Agatha said and closed my door shut.

I woke up to a banging on my door. I checked my phone to see the time. It was 7 am. Who has this much energy at seven am?

I got up from my bed and went to brush my teeth, the banging on my door still not stopping. It was so annoying my head was about to burst but I couldn't show myself like this, I needed to get ready.

I put on my clothes, did my makeup, and finally, I opened the door. It was Enid.

"Enid, what the fuck?" I said. I looked behind her to see Wednesday. She was standing in her usual pose, her expressionless face is there, as usual, and her black uniform that no one else seemed to have.

"Hi Wednesday." I smiled shyly. Why is this so awkward? I was literally throat-deep with my tongue in her mouth last night and now I feel like we are strangers.

"I need all the details!" Enid squealed and came into my room, uninvited. Wednesday followed her inside and she closed the door behind her.

"Wednesday won't tell me anything!" Enid said as she sat down on my bed.

"I don't owe you an explanation of my personal life." Wednesday said.

"You mean of your personal romantic life?" Enid teased.

"Well, I won't say anything either." Wednesday was looking at the posters on my walls so I took the opportunity and I mouthed the words "For now" to Enid.

"Wednesday, Miss Agatha wanted to talk to both of us this morning." I said.

"About what?" she asked.

"About... last night." I smiled.

"So you did kiss in the hallway!" Enid screamed.

"Enid! Keep your voice down! We are already in enough trouble." I said and dragged Wednesday by her hand to Miss Agatha's office.

I knocked on the door, looking at Wednesday in fear. She looked like she couldn't care less, but she always look like that.

Miss Agatha opened the door and let us in. She sat us down on the couch she had in her room and she sat behind her desk in her large, black-leather chair. I was pretty anxious about the whole situation. She is obviously making a big deal about this whole thing and she's going to use the fact that we are not allowed to have visitors in our room to hide her homophobia, but I still hate that I had to be called to her office. She was chosen as our new principal because she has been teaching at Nevermore for the longest. Twenty four years. God that must be awful.

"You are both very aware of the rules that I have set down at the beginning of this semester: No boys! I didn't think girls would even be considered as a problem! This is utterly disgusting! Think of the example you are setting for your other peers!" she said.

"None of our peers saw us kissing and you are making too big of a deal out of a simple peck on the lips." Wednesday stated. Wednesday, I like you, but now isn't the time to act all tough.

"And you dare talk back? Don't you say it was just a little peck on the lips! I saw it with my own eyes! If you want to come in here, acting like a slu-... Don't lie to me!" Did she just call Wednesday a slut?

"Calling female students 'sluts' is utterly disgusting, not two teenage girls experiencing their first relationship. As a woman, you should know how much harm that word makes and it is truly disappointing to hear it, especially from our principal that we are supposed to look up to. Do you really want to take away my happiness? Is that what you want? Are you going to call me a slut too? Just for liking someone that also has boobs? You should be the one thinking about the example you are setting for our peers, not us. Now if you excuse us, we have classes to attend where we hopefully won't hear the same type of words we heard in your office." I said. I went a bit overboard, but I was trying to make her feel bad. I left Miss Agatha with a guilty expression on her face.

Wednesday was looking at me with admiration and I burst out laughing while running to our classes. I then realized I was holding her hand.

"So are we going to hold hands now?" She asked.

"That's what girlfriends do... I mean...Not girlfriends." I stumbled over my words.

"Girlfriends. See you after classes." She said and went her way.

"Bye!" I said.

Girlfriend.
