Xavier And The Order of Malechai

Chapter one: First days

A certain friend of mine made me aware that the prologue had a few spelling mistakes or as he said "more than twenty" so sorry about that I'll try and watch out for that but for now, enjoy.

Xavier made his way out of his mom's SUV that was now labeled Pine Falls PD Sherifff, he got off and looked towards the large building that was now his new high school, "you gonna be okay honey" asked Rachel as she stopped him before he closed the passenger seat door, "I'll be fine mom" said Xavier giving his mom a re-assuring smile, "you sure, I know this is a big change for you" she said, "I'll be fine mom, now bye" Xavier said closing the door, and began walking away then Rachel rolled down the window from where Xavier was sitting, "I love you" said Rachel as Xavier looked back and smiled at his mother, "I love you too" he whispered and walked away as his mother laughed and drove away,

Xavier made his way through the crowded halls of his new school as he tried to find his way to the receptionist, surprisingly or unsurprisingly, the kids at Xavier's new school weren't the friendliest people in the world,

Or maybe he just asked dicks for directions,

After a whole ten minutes of searching, he finally stumbled upon the gum chewing lady sitting in front of her desktop and typing as if her life depended on it, Xavier made his way towards the lady and stood in front of her, upon seeing Xavier she lowered her glasses, placing them on her nose then she gave Xavier an accusing stare, "can I help you?" she asked as Xavier tried to utter out the words but they weren't coming out, "I'm here for my schedule" he finally said, "excuse me?" the lady asked, "oh, I'm a transfer student, it's my first day so I came to fetch my class time table" Xavier answered as the lady kept giving him an accusing look the she suddenly pulled her glasses up and smiled, "ooh, then why didn't you just say so sug" she said goi g back to her typing, "you must be Xavier, I'm Holly" said the now friendly receptionist, "here's your schedule, your home room teacher is Mr Ross just right around the corner and your first class of the day is astronomy so rush to it, she is not so kind" said the lady handing Xavier to A4 papers,

Xavier turned to walk away after saying his thank you to the lady but then he remembered he didn't know where his first class was so he turned back, "excuse me, where's M7" he said as Holly politely chuckled, "let me see if I can find anyone to help" she said then she pointed at the boy wearing a sportsman jacket, "Calvin" she shouted, "this here is Cali in, could you please show him to Miss Crawley's class" Holly said as the boy politely agreed and led the way,

"Hey, I'm Calvin Storm" the boy leading Xavier said, "Xavier" he said as they shaked hands, through first glance you would think Calvin was a mean and cruel person but by looking into his eyes you could tell that it was a cover, well at least that's what Xavier thought, he always had this sort of thing to him that always made him see a person for who they were by just taking a glance into their eyes, he never could explain it but it always seemed to be right, mysterious, isn't it.

The two boys kept walking through the schools halls while exchanging a bit of small talk about sport and what not, it went on like this for the next five minutes until they reached a red door with a teacher's name on it, "here you are" said Calvin as they stood at the door then the bell for beginning of classes rang, "thanks" said Xavier as the boy walked away and Xavier took in a deep breath and walked into the class that was already full with students and a female teacher teaching upfront, "you're late, mind explaining why?" said the lady, "uh..." Xavier tried to say as the whole class stared with a few of the learners laughing and gossiping in the back, "oh sorry, I... Didn't know I was late, since the bell just... rang" he said, "in my class you are ten minutes early, who even are you, I've never seen you in my class" said the teacher, "I'm Xavier Laine, I'm a transfer student" Xavier said, "Laine?" said the teacher with an inquisitive glare, "huh, take a seat, don't ever be late again" said the teacher as Xavier went to find a seat at the back of the class then the lesson went on but Miss Crow would keep throwing a curios glare at Xavier every five minutes.
