Bill and Judith's large lights brightly flashed through the dark woods. Enlightening their path.
The moon was glistening at it's fullest and brightest, the crickets were cricking as they usually would at that hour, the fireflies would lift from their position everytime Bill and Judith laid a step on their path through the forest and the tiny woodland creatures would shy away and hide everytime the two let out one of their loud and desperate shouts,
"Henry!" Bill called,
"Willow, Henry!" Judith joined in, both of them twisting and turning, flashing their lights in hope of spotting their children,
"Willow! It's me___mom, where are you sweetie",
"Henry!" Their calls received no response, just the shuddering and shaking coming from the bushes,
"Hen-" Bill attempted to call out again but paused at the site of something moving in one of the bushes opposing him. He flashed his light towards the direction of the bush, taking a few steps forward to get a closer look, Judith's calls still filling the air,
The snap of a small twig sounded, "did you hear that?" Bill asked now stepping back as Judith came close to him, "what" Judith asked,
"I think its time we head back home" Bill said, "what do you mean, we need to find our kids, don't you wanna find your son" Judith questioned.
A large shadow unnoticeably rose in the mist of their arguing on whether to head back or not, they both slightly turned their heads to be met with the large figure that had risen from behind the bushes.
Tall figure, exposed and fleshless body that looked like it had been cruely burnt as toture, covered in sticky boiling blood slowly drying, long black and sharp claws on the bony and crooked hands hanging from the abnormally long arms and just as similar feet, the face of the beast bare a large and stretched out mouth with long, sharp and drooling fangs, cut cheeks that exposed the bone behind the flesh, glowing bright red eyes and a hairless head.
Judith covered her mouth in attempt to hold back her scream, Bill pointing up his light as they slowly backed away from the beast, "Judith, run" Bill ordered,
"no___ where do I go",
"the Sheriff's station, it's close by" Bill said, Judith standing with her wide eyes blinking,
"Judith I said run" Bill picked up a pine cone and launched it at the large monster as Judith turned back and ran, he followed behind her while the beast began chasing.
It swiftly pushed through the woods using it's long hands to push it forward, knocking down branches as it pranced behind the two.
Bill and Judith ran towards the shining yellow light at the Sheriff's station entrance, Judith now again being knocked down by overlapping tree roots and Bill lifting her up. They finally managed reach the fence crossing over to the station and just as Judith jumped over, the large beast whipped out it's arm and grabbed ahold of Bill's ankle, knocking him down on top of the fence, the barbed wire cutting itself into his skin,
"HELP! HELP, please" Judith screamed pushing open the station doors, grabbing the attention of the deputies,
"ma'am what's wrong" one of them stood up and rushed towards Judith,
"you need to help him, NOW!, it's killing him" she rushed back out, the deputies following,
"NO" Judith cried falling onto her knees at the sight of Bill caught onto the wire, excessively bleeding as the beast's sharp claws devoured into his chest, digging in as if it was in search of something, knocking away pieces of organs and flesh it deemed unnecessary,
