Here we are, a new and interesting chapter if I do say so myself 😄
I hope you enjoy and have loads of fuunnn! 😊...
Prrrrrrrr!!! The whistle went as Calvin called the game and the team bean playing, Xavier sat on the bench geared up with his helmet in both his hands while he watched his new team, he really didn't believe he was back on the field again, he told himself he was putting football on hold for a while but here he was, waiting to be called in, it's mostly his fault though, he tried avoiding the coach the whole day yesterday but it was harder than he thought it would be and he tried saying he didn't have his gear but lucky for him, the coach had a spare, just his size,
Next thing he was trying out for the team, made the new second quarterback after the last one got injured and now he was sitting on a bench about to play a game against another school,
The screams and cheers of different teams and schools filled the field, the light on the filed shined as bright they could, making the green and freshly painted grass glow while the teams tackled and pushed each other over it,
Xavier kept his eyes on the team while he kept squinching and rubbing his ear every few minutes since the coach Philler was screaming his head out, trying to tell the team to play how they practiced, he screamed so loud you could even hear his voice slowly start to fade but it didn't seem to stop him, he kept screaming to the top of his lungs and took constant sips of mountain dew while he was at it,
Xavier tried moving his attention from the screaming coach to his new teammates but while he focused on them, his eyes met the forest at the far end of the field, behind the school fence, it once again pulled back in, he thought about how he was supposed to meet the lady in the forest yesterday but when he got there she was knowhere to be found, he had tried walking around the forest to pass the time, thinking the woman would later arrive but while walking in the forest he tripped on a broken branch and rolled down a hill and right there at the bottom is where he saw it, or him I guess,
Blood oozing out of his body while his eyes coldly stared at the sky, upon seeing this Xavier backed away into the tree while he in fear stared at the dead body, he calmed down and walked a bit closer to the man, his cold eyes were not cold but full of fear, his chest where the blood that was now turning into a black color was coming from looked like it had been stabbed, a deep wound went from his chest to his back,
Whatever killed him wanted him to be found, Xavier thought, his mom had taken him to work a couple of times so parts of his brain operated like a detective in moments like this, even though this one scared him when he saw it,
He let out a deep sigh then he stood up from his kneeling position and pulled out his phone while he dialed his mom's number but before he could take a step a felt a grip on his ankle, he looked back and the man had been grabbing on to his ankle with every little bit of strength he had trying to utter a word with his last breath, "I... I... " the man tried saying then Xavier kneeled in his previous position trying to hear what the man was trying to say,
"I... I..." the man tried to speak again coughing out a few drops of blood, "hey...hey, relax, take some deep breaths, I'll get you help" Xavier said lifting up his phone, "no!" the man loudly whispered as he knocked down Xavier's phone then he laid back down and took in a deep breath, "are you okay" Xavier asked placing his hand on the back of the man's head while he laid him down then the man took in one more deep breath before he sat up and tightly gripped Xavier's wrist while his eyes shifted from their mint green color into a glowing red one,
"my body of flesh has deceased but of spirit has not ceased, I give my spirt to walk with thee until my mind has been eased" the man whispered then fell to his death as soon as he said the words.
