Mario and Godzilla: The Planet Eater

Blumiere Bleck/Burning Godzilla's return

Mario wakes up in a world of Exif words, a green heavenly light, with him sinking into a dark void. A world.....for Blumiere.

Mario: How can destruction be considered a blessing?

Blumiere: The same question I had years ago. During the Exif's prosperous age, my ancestors acquired the science to see into the future. And they began searching beyond time for the truth of immortality. This was my species' most arrogant times in our history. So, they predicted the future beyond linear time, and reached a conclusion: "There is no such thing as eternity." Apparently, the universe is finite, and eventually everything will disappear. That's why they sacrificed their planet. My eyes opened when I lost someone dear to me. I loved her so much. She knew what I was, but didn't care, seeing I had a heart. I tried to leave the Exif cult to live a life with her, but my father sacrificed her to Ghidorah when her planet was destroyed. I tried to do something, but I couldn't save her. Therefore, I knew I had to find peace and comfort in her demise, by accepting my own fate. That's why I picked you Mario. You and I are the same. Broken inside, lost someone dear. Mario....this is the comfort you need.

Mario: No.....I won't accept it as true...

Blumiere: You're lying to yourself, Mario. Life is a continuation of fear. It's understandable you would wish to be released and find eternal peace....

Mario: Y-you're wrong......

Blumiere: Listen to the voice deep within you....and hear it! Face your true desires, just like I did.

Back in reality, Godzilla's eyes turn yellow, and his body begins glowing red, turning into his burning form again.

Peach: What's Godzilla doing now?

Toad: His body temperature is rising!

Bowser: Is he repeating what he did to MechaGodzilla?

The area around Godzilla and Ghidorah begins glowing red, the temperature rising increasingly, even to 1300 degrees Celsius.

Waluigi: Guys, his temperature is rising still. If it keeps going up, Godzilla could launch an attack without having to grab Ghidorah.

Yoshi: I don't know who we should be rooting for, Godzilla or King Ghidorah?

Bowser: I mean I wouldn't care much if Godzilla died, but since Ghidorah looks like a bigger threat, we're gonna need a big threat to face another.

Back in the vision Blumiere created, it begins blinking.

Blumiere: Think back to your oldest memories, when you were surrounded by despair.

Mario finds himself as a youngling again, running with Luigi and Daichi, seeing his parents get killed by Godzilla. He then finds himself walking with Blumiere, having replaced Luigi and Daichi in the memory.

Blumiere: In that moment, you thought "I hate this. I just want it to end." You were always trapped in this life, Mario. 

Mario: B-but I-I don't want all of it to end....

Blumiere: It's been a part of your life since you've been on the Aratrum. Anger, frustration, being trapped with nowhere to run. With no one to turn to, but me, Bowser, and Luigi. That is why you waited and wished to finally be freed....FROM EVERYTHING.....

Ghidorah smiles wickedly at Godzilla, and begins to do something to him. The cracks around Godzilla begin to disappear, and the red glow disappears.

Waluigi: Wait, his temperature is dropping now.

Wario: What?

Waluigi: I mean, the molecules are vibrating, but the heat is going away.

E. Gadd: But....but that's not right! It's creating heat, but there's no haze. If it's cooling down, there would be a water vapor, but there's nothing like that! Is the energy disappearing? BUT TO WHERE?!

E. Gadd lowers his head, trying desperately to think, hearing the Wario bros say Godzilla's temperature is dropping fast. He then reaches one conclusion.

E. Gadd: What if....Ghidorah is from a different universe? The laws of this universe wouldn't apply to him at all! And any physical attacks are from a different dimension completely!

Bowser: But-but How could it?! Whatever the case, are you saying that thing can defeat Godzilla?!

Peach: Bowser, if the laws of our universe don't apply to Ghidorah, I don't think he'll just kill Godzilla. The entire earth may be destroyed as well!

Blumiere then switches the vision, forming it into an ominous forest similar to the one from before.

Blumiere: Mario, let me remind you of those who carried out their missions with bravery.

Mario sees a bunch of people, including Crump and the Elite Trio walk, broken, and emotionless. Mario then sees Captain Toad emerge from the wreckage of an artillery.

Mario: Toad....

Captain Toad: I fought even if I had to sacrifice my life, just for you to find out about the shield. Do you not want to avenge my death? Why won't you choose to offer up your life. Ghidorah can defeat Godzilla...

Mario then notices a Nanometalic Daisy appear as well.

Mario: Daisy?!

Daisy: So you came all this way just to survive? With those other girls? Even though, you MADE ME LIKE THIS!

Mario: (Tearfully) NO PLEASE STOP!

Blumiere: Many of them lost their lives fighting Godzilla. You are one of the few left alive, Mario. We both are. You must answer now, the time to end this world has come....

Mario: Blumiere.....everyone didn't fight to kill the planet, we fought against Godzilla so we can continue to live on......I never wanted to destroy the planet just to get rid of him!
