Coexistence/The season for harvesting

Months later, the group discarded most of their technology, burying it outside. Life grew over the equipment over time, leaving flowers. Humanity also changed their clothing to one's styled to the Houtua, while a few kept their original clothing. Mario, Peach, and Bowser helped the others adapt to the new world they live in, and eventually they got used to it. E. Gadd and the others accepted it as their new home, Luigi got married to Maina (Mario and Miana being the best man and witnesses), and Peach began production of a more peaceful future.

Bowser shows Mario the blue flowers that summoned Mothra.

Mario: So...these are-

Bowser: Yeah. Miana told me flowers bloom before the season of rain. It's spring. The season where life is reborn.

Mario: Spring......it's my first time seeing this, even though it's my mother's namesake. Sorry we couldn't defeat Godzilla in the end, Bowser.

Bowser: No, I'm over it now. In fact, I feel more alive now.....

Mario smiles before heading off. E. Gadd calls him over.

E. Gadd: I was waiting for you, Mario.

Mario: So, what did you need to talk about?

E. Gadd: It's about the Fury. Plus, I wanted you to be the first one seeing this.

Mario: But, I thought it doesn't move anymore.

E. Gadd: Well, watch this.

E. Gadd turns on the Fury, it's eyes glowing red, shocking Mario.

E. Gadd: I succeeded in restarting the nuclear reactor. The self repair systems should be restored as well. I think we can get her moving again by tomorrow morning!

Mario: But-but how?

E. Gadd: I was able to retrieve a Nanometal sample from Daisy's body, and it had an active state. Materials are limited, so it was a gamble if it could work. But just this morning, I succeeded in getting into the control systems! You know what this means? Nanometal can self replicate and copy all technology memorized! If we can control it like how the Bilusaludo did, we can rebuild civilization to how it once was! We can say goodbye to this life!

Mario suddenly grabs his right eye, clenching it in pain, before finding himself next to a deteriorating Ghidorah, who was looking down on him.

Ghidorah: Exactly. The desire to advance society is in human nature. The season for harvesting will come again.

MechaGodzilla than appears behind Mario.

MechaGodzilla: Not only that, I'll also return through the Fury, and the age of Nanomachines will happen again.

Ghidorah: Time is....forever on my side. All I need to do is wait.....patiently.

Mario snaps out of it, and realizes what he might need to do, ignoring E. Gadd trying to talk to him.
