(Y/N POV)

[A bit before Rui saw Y/N]

I woke up unusually tired, yet I was excited to be going to school in my hometown again. But, I was more excited to see my childhood friends for the first time in a while. I never got to say goodbye, so I hope my disappearance didn't ruin our friendship.

I got up from my bed and went to take a shower. After my shower, I grabbed my new school uniform, a white button-up shirt, a blue and red striped tie, dark blue blazer, dark blue pleated skirt, knee-high socks, and formal dress shoes. I did my hair and brushed my teeth and then went downstairs towards the kitchen.

"Morning sweetie" my mom greeted me. "Morning" I greeted back. "I made your lunch, which is right beside you. Your breakfast is also ready, and it's your favorite, (F/F)." "Thanks mom" I smiled at her. "Don't forget to ready all your materials for school. Your father and I will arrive late for dinner, so you will have to make yourself something for dinner." "What about you and father, shouldn't I also make you something for dinner?" I asked.

"No need, your father and I will eat something from work. You better finish up your breakfast, you don't want to be late for your first day at your new school, now do you." My mom warm-heartedly smiled.

I finished my breakfast quickly.

Going back upstairs towards my room, I grabbed by backpack, which was ready to go due to me preparing all my materials yesterday. I went downstairs, grabbed my lunch and phone, and headed towards the door.

Right when I was about to leave, my mom yelled "Don't forget to take your medications sweetie!" She went up to me and handed me my bottle of medicine. "Okay, now you are already to go" she smiled. "Have a nice day darling". My mom gave me a quick hug. "Bye mom!" I said as I walked out the door.

I was walking down the street towards the school when I kept thinking about my childhood friends.

'Would they recognize me? Or will I recognize them? Do they still want to be friends? Are we still friends? Do they even go to the school I'm going to?'

All these thoughts made me space out and before I knew it, I was already in front of the school's entrance.

Clearing my head, I walked inside the school's campus, looking around for a certain someone.

I stood in the middle of the campus, continuing to wait, until I saw grayish-green hair in the corner of my eyes. When I turned to look at the hair, a girl was running towards the school building. She looked like she was in a rush.

'Could that have been Nene?' I think to myself. 'Nene did have the same hair color as the girl I just saw, so maybe it was Nene!'

I would chase after the girl but, if I do, I might get lost since I don't know much about the campus. All I can do now is wait for my tour guide to arrive.

[Nene POV]

I saw Y/N standing in the middle of the campus.
'Y/N's back?!' I thought to myself. I was going to go over to her but, I remembered how heartbroken Rui was when she left. I decided to go tell Rui about
Y/N's return before I welcome her back. It would also be better for both of her friends to welcome her back. Especially Rui.

I started to run up the stairs towards the roof. 'Rui is usually at the roof.' I thought as I made my way up the stairs.

When I made it to the roof, I saw Rui sitting on a bench, writing something in a little notebook. Tired, I made my way towards where Rui was sitting at. "Rui...I-I just...saw Y/N...she's back...she's in front of...the school's campus." I breathed out.

I saw Rui's eyes widen at my statement, and without second guessing, he ran out the roof.

'Can't believe he's making me chase after him' I sighed. 'I had run up here just to run back down'. Exhausted, I ran after him.

[Y/N POV]

I was getting tired of standing still and waiting for my guide. 'I'm going to get myself a new tour guide.' I sighed. I was about to walk into the school building, when suddenly someone jumped from behind me and hugged me. "Did I scare you Y/N!?" a familiar voice said as they continued to hug me. "Nice try, but that didn't scare me." I giggled.

I turned around to see my orange-pinkish haired tour guide. "I thought we agreed on showing up to school early so that you could show me around the campus." I said to the orange-pinkish haired boy. I was annoyed that I woke up an hour before school started so that I can get to know more on the school, just for my guide to appear 40 minutes later.

Letting go from the hug, the boy responded "I apologize Y/N, I something came up at the last minute. But I am here anyways, and we still have 20 minutes before school starts, so let's get going."

The orange-pinkish haired boy held my hand and we walked towards the entrance of the school building.

But just before reaching the door, a purple haired boy stood in front of the school building's entrance, and behind him stood an out of breath grayish-green haired girl.

'That was the girl I saw earlier' I thought. The orange-pinkish haired boy lead me towards the duo.

'Wait, I recognize that purple hair' I thought.

"Good morning R-".

"Rui!" I yelled, cutting off the orange-pinkish hair boy mid sentence. The frown that adorned the purple haired boy's face turned into a delighted smile.

"My, this is a pleasant surprise, isn't it Nene." Rui smirked.

"Eh...wait...Rui you KNOW Y/N!!"
