[Y/N POV]

I woke up more tired than I have ever been. The hangout with Rui took a lot of my energy, it was a pain to even get up from my bed.

I couldn't hear any noise downstairs.

My parents must've left early in the morning.

I did my usual morning routine and walk downstairs in my uniform. There was a note on the counter.

We had to go work earlier than usual, so I couldn't make your breakfast nor lunch today. I left you some money for you to buy lunch at school. Don't be late for school :)

Next to the note were 50 dollars for me to spend. I looked at my phone to check the time.

It was 7:30

...wait...

7:30!!!!!

I'm going to be late!!!!

I ran upstairs, grabbed my backpack, and shoved my medicine in the bag. Swiftly, I went downstairs, grabbed myself a fruit, put my shoes on, and left my house. I made sure to lock the door before I left.

Outside, I noticed Rui approaching me. "Morning
Y/N-Chan, did you sleep well?"

"Morning Rui, I actually slept too well that I didn't hear any of my alarms go off. Thanks to that, I'm running late." I sighed.

Rui giggled at my predicament. "Then we shall get going now, shouldn't we?"

[Rui POV]

We walked side by side, with me blocking the sun from Y/N's face.

*cough*

I turned my attention to Y/N. She was looking to the side.

"Are you alright Y/N?"

*cough*

Another cough

She coughed one more time before looking at me. "I'm fine, I just have a dry throat, no need to worry."

I reached towards my bag and pulled out a water bottle.

"Here, drink this. It should help you dry throat."

She drank the water without hesitation. "Thank you Rui!" She said while smiling.

"What are planning to do with that?" I pointed to her left hand.

"With what?" Y/N looked at her left had.

"Oh...I had nearly forgotten about this. I didn't have breakfast, so I got fruit for me to eat on the way to school."

She took a bite out of her fruit.

Everything about Y/N was cute.

"Rui"

Everything she did was perfect.

Her smile

"Rui?"

Her lips...

"Rui!"

I was snapped out of my thoughts.
