Your pretty perfect

Adas Pov:

I woke up with my pretty cabin view for the first time in what felt like forever, and it felt like home.

I felt like I let him off a little too easy last night, and I can't fix that now. I really don't wanna be like 'yeah we broke up but we are getting married again don't worry'.

And of course Jb was already well awake and his day had started long before mine. I look out the big window that outlooks the fields, barn and arenas to see if Jb was anywhere in sight and of course he wasn't. My plan was, get ready, talk to him and go to Codis. So I started to get ready, my outfit is pretty plain but it's November and it's starting to get cold so cute doesn't matter. I put on my wranglers from yesterday , one of Jbs sweatshirts, my belt, and my boots and decided that will do.

I don't have a car here since Weston brought me so all I have here is my phone. I opened the front door and started making my way down to the barn where Jb hopefully was. I got to the barn and there he was, in all his glory stacking hay. And something about this moment really made me not wanna take our relationship slow.

"Are you just gonna watch me or are you gonna do something hun?"

"Oh hell no, I just wanna talk to you." I laughed and said.

"Okay but it will cost you." He said while smiling at me.

"Of course it does. What do I owe you huh? I think you owe me." I say while mirroring his smile.

"Nope, if you wanna talk to me you have to stack 3 bales and I get to watch." He said while throwing 3 bales off the truck and onto the barn isle for me to stack.

"You think you're gonna get a show huh babe?" I say while walking over to him and taking his work gloves out of his belt.

"Maybe. But to be fair you watched me and I'm pretty sure you were drooling" He said while sitting on the tailgate of his truck.

"I was not!" I yelled back to him while stacking my 1st bale.

"What ever you say darlin" He said and laughed.

"Ok so what I wanted to talk to you about is that I think I forgave you a little too fast. I'm still upset with you, and even though the proposal thing was cute I don't wanna get married yet. I do eventually yes but I don't know let's just stay boyfriend/girlfriend. Is that ok with you?" I said, hoping his answer didn't disappoint me.

"Um, alright I guess. Better than not being together at all." He said looking kinda disappointed.

"Ok I did my bales, can you take me to Codis? All my stuff is there and I haven't seen my baby's in a whole day." I said while thinking about my horses, it's hard when your with them all the time to not see them.

"Oh your funny." Jb said while starting his truck.

We both got in the truck and started to head over to Codis. It was only like a 20 minute drive.

"Penny for your thoughts? You look unhappy." I asked him while he was spaced out while driving.

"No i'm good, just thinking about what you said."

"What about it?"

"Well I know I said a lot of not too good things about you. So I understand why you would want what you said. But, I will never ever do it again and I will never doubt you or leave your side ever. So you won't have to worry about that happing ever again." He said while still being extremely focused on the road, so I know something is still up.

"I know, I trust you. But there's something else yeah?"

"Yeah, but it's not important."

"No it is, you and your thoughts matter. But if you don't wanna tell me that's alright too." I said trying to reassure him.

"I feel like I just keep fucking everything in our relationship up. And it's always my fault and I could have done something better." He said and I knew that's what was stressing him out.

"Even though you did cause some bumps, you have been so good to me. Like the horses, The ranch, the dates, and just you, your pretty perfect."

At Codis :)

We got to Codis house and immediately the girls ran out of the barn and about tackled Jb.

"Did you win your PBR?! I bet you did your the best ever!!" Bea said while holding his hand dragging him to the barn with her.

"Oh um no I didn't." He said while looking back at me confused. So I just shrugged and laughed at him, he will figure it out soon.

"Oh ok well maybe next time then." Bea said while still pulling him to the barn.

We all got to the barn and Codi was there brushing Scout where the girls didn't. Codis bump is starting to show more and more every week, and we got the nursery all set up for the baby.

"Hey Codi!" I said while walking over to her and started petting Scout.

"Hey! Y'all seemed to figure things out. Wait, GIRLS! Y'all can ride but nothing crazy please! James keep a eye on them." Codi yelled over to them. Me and Codi started laughing so hard at the look Jb threw us after though

But all we hear from them is Bea yell "YOUR NAME IS JAMES!!!" And we all lost it.

We all decided to have dinner at our Cabin so Codi and her family came over. We brought all of my stuff and my Horses home.

We are all sitting around the dining room table eating, of course there was a whole fight about who is sitting next to Jb and Emma ended up beside me.

Around 8:30 we had all finished eating and the girls had run off to play and we had all moved over to the living room to the couches. I was laying down with my legs across Jbs lap and he had one hand on my thigh and another brushing up and down my shins. Codi and Weston shared the recliner across from us.

"Ok so Ada I've been keeping a secret. I wanted to wait to tell you and Jb so here we go. The baby is a boy!" Codi said and I just about jumped off the couch I was so happy.

"No way!! Finally!! Have y'all picked any names?!" I asked her. I was so excited honestly, we went through this 2 other times but it's still as special.

"Yeah we need help picking. So it's either Waylon or Colton." Said Weston, there both great choices.

"Well I like that Waylon matches Weston so i'm gonna go with Waylon." I said

"Pfh Waylon? No Colton is so much better." Jb said quickly

"Y'all are cute, anyways we will decide when he gets here!! He should be here in late December."

Shortly after they decided to head home. But first Codi insisted on cleaning up and i'm honestly so thankful. The last week and been a lot for me. So I put my Pjs on and go get back on the couch so I can watch a movie or something.

"Ada!"

"What!"

"How do you turn the dryer on?"

"I'll do it tomorrow come here!"

and before I could go back to watching my show, Jb pushed me off the couch, layed down and then looked at me like i'm stupid for still being on the floor.

"Are you gonna lay with me or not dumbass."
