Echo stood in front of the remnants of Agate Mountain, breathing heavily. She glimpsed at the pool barely visible, where Crystalline had went to the Fallen Islands so long ago. She looked around, and placed a crystal there, a sacrifice to Crystalline, and spread her navy wings. She remembered Oracle knew he couldn't go with her or else he'd die, and he said that she was a necromancer too, because of the Brightest Night hatching.

Her eyes cleared and she stared at the oddly colored dragons. She was one oddly colored dragon herself- usually GhostWings were grey and white and shades as such, but she was dark blue, as she was a Necromancer.

These dragons, however, were all over the spectrum. One was changing colors, one was black and silver like the night sky, one was red all over and very pretty, but she couldn't get distracted. She needed to go to Crystalline II (or Virgo, whatever the dragon's name was).

She saw the place from her visions with Oracle, but Agate Mountain had seriously changed. A (dead) dragon named Clearsight said there was a landslide and the thing deformed, but there were some scale marks, and the pool looked like it was a place for a tail, but no way, the pool was too big. Shrugging it off, she spread her wings yet again and flew towards Jade Mountain, fading away into Nowhere's Form.

Virgo awoke groggily, the memory of a weird dragon mingling with her normal dragon thoughts. The usual other thoughts of dragons filled her mind and as she pushed them away, she looked for her skyfire. Her mind was much more, say, messy, than it was the day before. She felt a bit faint.

"Hello, Virgo."

Virgo looked around, her head swimming.

"I'm right behind you."

Virgo whipped her head around, causing her headache to hurt harder, and saw the most peculiar dragon ever. Even the hybrid-mutants looked normal. Actually, Avi's color and scale pattern was kind of similar to this mysterious busybody, but that was it. The build looked much different to Pantalan dragons, much more different than anything she'd ever seen. The dragon had lightning patterns across the body, ripped wings and SandWing-like horns. No, not SandWing horns.

"I said hello."

"Hello," Virgo mumbled, crouching into a bowing position.

"I'm Echo. You?"

"V-virgo,"

Her mind felt out of her as suddenly thoughts cycled past and didn't click, and the dragon in front of her's eyes were white.

Virgo rubbed her eyes. The dragon's eyes used to be a void-like black, but now they were pure white. Smoke was pouring out of her mouth and fog came along with it, misting up Virgo's line of sight.

Incomprehensive words poured out of Echo.

Only one word Virgo could comprehend:

"Silver,"

Virgo cocked her head, weirded out.

Echo pointed one claw out, then suddenly stumbled, all the fog and smoke dissipating.

"Clearsight has informed me of your most likely future. Trauma lies on you, darling, unless you'd like not, and that will be joining me to conquer- I mean, restore, the Fallen Islands alongside Oracle and I. Your friends have no hope, frost dragon!" Echo cried, suddenly hovering above ground, her wings half spread and her talons clutching Virgo's shoulders.

Virgo couldn't respond, only staring dumbfounded at the weird dragon.

Avi was chatting amiably with oribi, Virgo could just hear it, but they couldn't see nor hear Echo, and as they walked in, one looking happy as usual and the other looking stormy with a side of amusement. Echo pounced on them, her eyes going white again and she spoke in a much older voice. "Of five who venture with the great, One shall die by the talons of good, one shall be impaled through grief, one shall live with all the guilt."

Her eyes became normal again as she shrugged herself off.

"Clearsight's plans." The dragon turned heel as if expecting the others to follow suit.

"No." Oribi said.

Avi looked very afraid, standing behind Oribi's wings. Virgo stood up, her headache completely gone.

"What he said," Virgo hissed. "How are we to believe you?"

Echo turned her head and her eyes glowed white again, before looking to Avi. "Go find your friends Python and Vulpes."

Avi was shivering from talon to tail.

"No." Oribi snarled.

"Oh?" Echo cocked her head. "I am powerless against your barb. But I can show you the ghost of your br-"

"NO!" Oribi shouted. "No."

"Fine," Echo replied, and her eyes turned white as the fog turned into real dragons. One looked like Oribi, and another was looking at Avi with a murderous expression. Another was looking at Virgo with fire in her eyes.

Avi was looking at the one which was staring at her, muttering. Oribi glared at the one who looked like him. "Deathstalker, you've always been powerful." He whispered. "Not as I will be," His expression varied several times as the ghost's mouth opened and closed.

"Prestige, don't look at me like that," Avi whispered. She laughed strangely, like she was getting tickled as the ghost's mouth moved.

But the one who was looking at Virgo was an IceWing. "Betrayerrrrh," she whispered, the odd 'h' not standing out to Virgo.

"Who are you?" Virgo murmured.

"One crisis at a time, Virgo." The dragon whispered.

"That's about enough," Echo said. The spirits retreated into the fog, and Virgo realized how shaken Avi was, and how angry Oribi was.

"Vulpes and Python?" Echo asked.

Oribi was about to protest when Avi nodded and hurried to fetch them.

~

Virgo was three, and she was running away from Iceberg. She had seen a face in the window and begged for help. The dragon looked at her pityingly. "One crisis at a time, Virgo," the dragon whispered. "I'll come back for you."

And then Virgo was five. The dragon came back and Iceberg claimed that she had run away due to traumatic events concerning her. Virgo hadn't. She watched as the dragon whispered that she could've trained and loved Virgo. Virgo wanted to surprise the dragon, but the dragon had run away before she could've done anything. Virgo didn't understand why the dragon loved her so much, but eventually... the dragon left her memories.

~

Virgo pulled back when her brain clicked.

She didn't know the name of the dragon, why the dragon loved her so much, nothing about her.

But the dragon had loved her when no one did. Remorse suddenly came into Virgo's life. Python and Vulpes stepped into the room, Vulpes looking at Echo vindictively. Python just stared at Avi helplessly.

"And now... You follow my plan or you'll suffer the vengeful spirits of the past."

Virgo didn't know why the spirits scared her so much.
