Chapter 8

Just in case anyone was wondering I am not going to do scenes with Adriana and Phil. I never really was a fan of their storyline. Sorry if that upsets anyone.

Chloe walks into her apartment and Jackie comes into the living room. Chloe takes her suitcase out from under her bed and begins throwing clothes into the suitcase and Jackie goes to see what she is doing

Jackie- Where on earth are you going?

Chloe- None of your business

Jackie folds her arms over her chest

Jackie- Please tell me you're not following Eddie somewhere again. Chloe he doesn't love you anymore. He moved on. So should you.

Chloe throws her head up furiously and her face is beat red

Chloe- He doesn't love that hippie! He loves me! He always has and he always will!

Chloe continues packing. Jackie responds sounding concerned

Jackie- Cynthia if you really believe that, then you need help honey. Eddie dumped you months ago already. You have to get over it! If you really want love then go find it elsewhere, not Tyler or Eddie again

Chloe puts her head up again and faces Jackie

Chloe- What do you know about love? Huh mom? You've been single my whole life. You couldn't even remember your own daughters name half the time! You don't know what love is

Jackie- I know for damn sure that it's not what you think you and Eddie have. All you are to him now is a bad memory and an even worse mistake

Chloe smacks Jackie across the face. Jackie screams in pain and shock

Chloe- Don't you dare tell me who does and does not love me! I got Eddie once, and I will get him again. Now get the hell out of my house!

Jackie takes her coat and slams the door shut. Chloe just ignores her and packs a little more, then she picks up her phone and makes a call

Chloe- Hi yes I need you're earliest flight to New York

(Devious face)

Now to Eddie in Max and Nora's hotel room

Eddie and Max are in the living room and Nora is in the bathroom washing her face. Eddie's phone rings and it's from a number he doesn't know, but decides to answer anyway.

Eddie- Hello?

Jackie- Eddie its Chloe's mom. I just wanted to warn you that Chloe is on her way to New York right now

Eddie- She's WHAT? Please tell me this is some sick joke

Jackie- I really wish I was kidding but I'm not

Eddie- Crap. Um ok I will take care of it. And Jackie...

Jackie- Yes?

Eddie- I really appreciate you warning me

Jackie- Your welcome. Good luck

(End of phone convo)

Max comes into the room

Max- Who was that?

Eddie- Jackie. She called to warn me that Chloe is on her way here

Max getting angry

Max- When will she give up?

Eddie- I don't know but I'm going to warn security.(Whisper) Just do me a favor and don't tell Nora. I don't want to worry Loren

Max- Good idea. Alright I'll see you later

Eddie runs downstairs to the head of security

Guard- Good evening Mr. Duran, what can I help you with?

Eddie- Listen, you remember my ex fiancé right?

Guard- Yes sir

Eddie- Ok look she's on her way here. Don't let her anywhere near me or my family ok?

Guard- Yes sir

Eddie- Thanks

Eddie tips him

Now to Max and Nora:

Nora walks out of the bathroom

Nora- Oh I thought I heard Eddie

Max- Yeah he just stopped by to ask me about something

Nora- Oh okay

Nora walks over to Max and begins to kiss him

Nora- So since the kids are out having fun. Why don't we have some of our own

Max- I love the way you think

And into the bedroom they go
