Scars pov:

When I wake up, Grian's still asleep. He looks so cute like that. I'm glad he stayed. I smile and get up, careful not to wake up Grian.

I walk through my maze of a house to the kitchen to make us breakfast. I turn on a song quietly and dance around like Grian did while he'd made us dinner last night. I don't notice the person watching me until I finish.

"Good morning." He says and I turn around.

"Oh! Good morning, Grian." I say and smile. Grian smiles back. He stretches his arms, raising them above his head.

I laugh, reminding Grian that he had no pants on. His face becomes the same color as his sweater.

I just pass him a plate and walk towards the dining room, which I stupidly decided to put far away from the kitchen. By the time I'm there my eggs are finished, because I didn't want them to become cold. I sit down and wait for Grian, who I'd left in the kitchen.

"Scar?" He yelled, since he didn't know the way to the dining room. I laugh and get up to help Grian find me.

Once I find him I take him back to where I was to eat breakfast. Once we finish, Grian gets up and heads towards the front door.

"Where are you going?" I ask my shorter friend.

"I have to stock up on my shops and I have plans with Mumbo." The blonde explains.

"Oh." I say, oddly disappointed. We weren't even friends before... you know. "Okay." I say and wave goodbye to Grian.

Grian's pov:

~The Next Day~ As I walk towards Scars house Tango bumps into me. "Are you going over to Scars house again?" He asks.

"Yep." I say and continue walking. Once I arrive at Scar house I knock on his door, eager to spend some more time with Scar.

I notice that he's left a note on the carpet for me. I pick it up.

"Come inside!" It says. I twist the doorknob and it isn't locked. I step inside and walk over to his room.

He's looking out the window, as if he wishes to be out there but is trapped like a bird in a cage.

"Hey Scar, I got your note." I say gently, so as to not scare him.

"Oh, hey Grian." Scar says sadly.

"What's wrong?" I ask, wishing he'd tell me so I could help him.

"It's not important." Scar mumbles. "What were you wanting to do today?"

"I didn't have any plans, you?" I ask softly.

"Not really, usually my days go something like this; I stare out the window, I stare out the window some more, I go get some food if I'm hungry, I stare out the window, then finally pass out while staring out the window." Scar says, laughing.

"Oh. Well, maybe we could go outside?" I suggest, although knowing what Scar is going to say.

"Not today, thanks though." Scar says softly.

"We could fly over to where no one else goes?" I try, and Scar seems to think about it.

"I guess we could. It would be nice." He says, smiling a bit.

"Great, do you have an elytra or do you need one of mine?" I ask and Scar begins to look around.

"Could I borrow one of yours?" He asks nervously.

"You can keep one, I don't really need them, because of these." I say, showing him my wings.

"If you'd be okay with that." Scar says.

"I offered, I wouldn't have offered if I wasn't." I chuckle, "I'll have to go to my base, but I'll be back in ten minutes!"

"Okay, see you soon." Scar says and I fly away towards my base.

Landing on the soft grass I look in my chest monsters for an elytra, eventually finding one.

"Scar! I got you one!" I gasp, landing in front of him.

"Oh, you really didn't have to." He says again and I put my finger to his lips, shutting him up.

"I wanted to, now put that on and follow me." I say sternly and hand him the elytra.

"Thank you, Grian." Scar says and I can feel his thankfulness full blast.

"It was no problem." I say and guide him towards a field of rotting wheat.

"This smells so bad." Scar complains, covering his nose with his sleeve.

"Yes, I know." I say and stop once we're far enough in to be able to have a safe take off.

Well, for Scar to maybe have a safe take off. I'm not even sure if he remembers how to use his elytra.

"Do you even remember how to use an elytra, Scar?" I ask, already feeling Scars embarrassment.

"Maybe?" He says and I hand him a stack of rockets.

"Okay, no I don't." He admits and I smirk a bit.

"Well, I can teach you then." I say and begin to demonstrate how to glide with them first.

"Okay, I'm gonna try." He says and I step out of the way.

Scar jumps, his elytra wings spread and catch the wind...

And he falls onto his face.

"That was a great try, no one gets it perfect on their first try." I encourage, feeling Scars disappointment.

"Can you show me again?" He asks and I demonstrate how to land.

"Have you got it or do you need me to demonstrate it again?" I ask kindly.

"I think I have it." Scar says and jumps, spreads his elytra, catches the wind and...

Lands perfectly!

"Yes! Just practise that some more and you'll be good to try flying with rockets." I cheer on Scars feeling of happiness.

"Really?" Scar asks and I nod.
