It's Sunday. I usually wakes up at 7am but today I woke up at 9am because of the last night talks with my family about my wedding! Today there's no office! Today is my marriage! My Marriage. It seems so wired like after some hour I'll loose the title of bachelor and become a married man!

After doing my morning chores I went down to see our Mudgalkar Mansion is being getting decorated. I saw the railings of the stairs are getting decorated with plastic flowers and clothes of light colors like pink, blue, yellow, white, peach!
I took one empty seat which was beside my dadi. I was sitting when my dadi told me that my grandfather and my bride's grandfather were friends a long time back! On the day of my grandfather's marriage my bride's grandpa's sister who was my grandpa's bride elope due to her childishness and replaced me in her place. After the marriage was done she got her sence and came back! As you know our family's tradition there was nothing to do. She started blaming me but as your grandpa knew how she was and what was his motives he took stand for me. Even my bride's grandfather didn't tried to understand the situation nor to listen the truth and blamed both of us! From that day your grandfather and her grandfather's friendship was broken! They didn't talk to each other even but know the problem is being solved with good result! and i.e. my and her's marriage!

I was not known about this so I just nodded. Then dad spoke "Uncle told that he will directly come here so we can do the  turmeric and mahendi ceremony also we have to do chudda ceremony here itself!"

I nodded and asked my dad "Do you talk about Basant and Abhishek?" My dad answered that he talked to his uncle and he told me that as my bride didn't have sister Basant and Abhishek can do all the rituals! Even dad told that he said sorry because he will not be able to attend the wedding! His old sickness has suddenly occurred today in the morning. My bride will be accompanied to her in laws by her uncle!!

I found it weird but still I didn't spoke anything because I can't let them feel down and neither do I doubt their decision so I just nodded. Afternoon went within a blink! In evening Basant-Monika and Abhishek-Vaishnavi came.

Vaishnavi and Monika helped my mom also look after the necessities which were need for the wedding. They also did the rituals that was needed for my wedding! They were sister and sister-in-law for my bride. Basant and Abhishek also did rituals which were needed. They also helped me in wearing my sherwani. I wore a peach colour sherwani  with red border.

My father announced to the media that Sumedh Mudgalkar is going to tie knot. We didn't revealed about my bride!

My friends teased me alot by saying now forever my bachelor tag will be removed and I will become a married man! Hackkk!!! I even don't know my future wife's name.

It was 7 in the evening when my bride with her 2 uncle and 2 aunt came. They apologized for the absence of her grandfather! My future wife wore a vail for which I was not able to see her face.
She was taken inside by Monika and Vaishnavi then Abhishek-Vaishnavi and Basant-Monika respectively took some turmeric and touch her up with it on her hand. After this they made her wear chudda and then vaishnavi wrote my name on her hand with Mahendi!

She was silent and I could only hear her jewelleries sound! She was just walking and doing only the things that were told to do. She was behaving like a senseless person.I thought she was doing this because of wedding jitters!

My mom came forward and told to put the ring on her hand! When I touched her I felt some spark. I made her wear the engagement ring. Even she made me wear to do so. She made me wear the ring but I felt her hand was cold!

We both sat down in the mandap and the priest started with the marriage rituals. Basant and Monika did my bride's Kanyadan! I don't know why but I felt right and wrong at this same situation. Wrong because of the absence of my bride's grandfather and the situation or you can say sudden marriage but right because of my bride! Soon I made my bride wear   Mangalsutra and filled her hairline with Vermillion of my name!
