Once we got to the school I said, "Thank you for the ride Roman!"

He gave me a nice smile. "You're welcome Padre," he said.

I got really excited when he called me that. I looked it up and it means dad in Spanish. It might seem a little weird to people but I like being considered the dad of my friends, sort of like being a mom friend but a dad.

We walked into the school. I smiled and waved to everyone I passed, Roman was walking behind me, but I heard him say hello to a few people.

When I made my way to my locker I carefully put my backpack inside. I noticed Roman wasn't anywhere near me after a few seconds. I guessed he was flirting with someone. I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

When I closed my locker I looked around for Roman. His letterman jacket wouldn't be hard to spot. Or so I thought. He wasn't close by, it felt sorta weird to be alone in the school halls. I wasn't used to walking around the school without Roman by my side, but I'll manage.

I decided I'd get to my first class a little early. My first class was English. I'm not the best with English class, commas are so confusing, and spelling is hard, and knowing when to end a paragraph is hard! English is hard!

On my way to class, I noticed how energetic everyone is. I'm a morning person, but I could never be running around the halls this early.

My English teacher was is actually one of my favorites. He's patient while I struggle to write, and he's really nice! I walked into class and sat down. Mr. Green was sitting at his desk, it looked like he was figuring out lesson plans for later in the week.

I sat at my desk and spent some time on my phone waiting for everyone else to come inside.

After a few minutes, everyone was in class and the lesson started. We were assigned some homework, which included writing. Just my luck. I decided for the last few minutes of class I would work on it so I had less to do at home.

I couldn't figure out how to phrase what I was trying to say, so I went back and forth between writing and erasing.

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see a guy with a black button-up and a blue tie in front of me. I took a second to take in his looks. His dark brown hair was gelled away from his face. He looked really serious! He had square, black glasses in front of his hazel eyes. He wasn't much taller than me. He looked amazing, if I'm being honest.

"Would you like some help?" He asked.

I nodded, relived that someone noticed my trouble. I really really really needed help. He sat next to me and looked at my paper, and shook his head gently. I felt bad about how bad the writing was.

He spent the last little bit of class helping me with homework. Thankfully, he wasn't very unimpressed with my work, my handwriting was just hard to read.

Once class was over, he stood up and turned to leave. I decided that wasn't going to happen. I stood up and grabbed his wrist. He turned to face me and gave me a confused look.

I gave him a welcoming smile. "I'm Patton," I said, "what's your name?" I really wanted to know this guy, he seemed really nice.

"My name is Logan, it's a pleasure to be of acquaintance, Patton," he said.

It looked like he knew a lot of big words more than me at least. He was really good at writing and all that stuff.

A/N- Sweet Jesus, two chapters in one day. I guess that doesn't mean much since I'm only just now starting. I really hope I have a clear description of Logan-
