Patton knocked lightly on the door. "Virgil," he said, "can I come in?"
All I could get out was sobs. That, and a faint, "I'm sorry.."
I couldn't hear anything over my own crying. I assume Patton and Logan were talking about getting me out of the bathroom. Which, was not happening. The one person who could get me to leave right now is Roman.
It's nothing against the other two, it's just that he's sort of easier to talk to. He's dramatic, yes, but he also doesn't react with as much concern as the other two. He listens, no matter what's happening. He doesn't take it up on himself to help me if I don't ask. If Roman wasn't there, I wasn't doing anything.
Before I knew it, a few minutes has passed.
Patton knocked again. "Kiddo, please let me come in."
I paused a second. In for five seconds, hold for three, out for four. I continued this a few times.
I heard a pretty familiar voice, "Virgil, open the, open the door please, Virgil open the door~" of course, it was Roman.
Finally, I opened the door. I know I looked like hot garbage, but I didn't care. Roman greeted me with Starbucks and a comforting smile. I laughed softly while taking my drink.
"What am I? Basic?" I was joking, of course.
Roman gasped dramatically "How DARE you imply that I, Prince Roman, am basic!"
I laughed. "You're a basic bitch Roman."
He laughed back at me. His laugh in itself was enough to cheer- wait what am I saying? Listen, LISTEN, I do not have a thing for Roman, okay? Okay.
