I woke up to the obnoxious beeping of my alarm clock at seven o'clock am. I stepped out of bed and stretched my arms. Straight after, I put my glasses on. I then walked to my dresser and got my clothes. It wasn't anything too extreme. A gray button up with my usual tie and dark blue jeans.

I changed in my bedroom, then I made my bed. To be specific, I folded the blanket I used the night before and placed it on the bottom right corner, and placed my pillow over my sheet.

Immediately after I had finished with my bed, I began combing my hair. I took my black comb to the bathroom, and gelled my hair back so it was away from my eyes. I took my glasses off and cleaned them, being sure not to put much pressure on the lenses. Once ensuring my glasses were clean, I began brushing my teeth, keeping track of time in my head.

I ran myself through everything I had to get done already, my teeth were clean, my bed was made, etcetera. I noticed my back was arched slightly, so before leaving I straightened my posture.

Upon entering the kitchen I noticed my mom had taken the liberty to make breakfast. It wasn't anything crazy, overeasy eggs and toast.

I ate breakfast rather quickly, and made myself a cup of coffee. All I put in my coffee was a small amount of milk. I drank my coffee at a slightly quick pace, just so I could get out the door in time for school.

Right before I left, I took my keys off of the kitchen island and looked into my younger brother's bedroom. He was sleeping peacefully. He was sick, but I felt perfectly fine, so I was still going to school. I put my keys in my right pocket for just a moment so I could slip my gray Converse shoes on, and left the house.

I took a breath of the cold, crisp Michigan air I was very familiar with. I smiled gently, then entered my car. It started quickly, and I was on my way to school.

*Time skip, Logan has arrived at school*

I parked my car, placed my backpack over my shoulders and walked into the school. To my surprise, Patton was standing there with another person.

Patton smiled brightly upon seeing me, his emerald eyes filled with joy. "Hey Logan!" He said with the same excited voice from when he introduced himself.

I was in slight shock when I saw how excited he was to see me. Before I could answer his friend spoke.

"So this is the guy you won't sto-" he was interrupted by Patton.

"Roman!" He exclaimed, with embarrassment in his voice. The person who I assume to be Roman rolled his eyes.

"Come on padre, it'll be fine," Roman said. He extended a hand to me "I'm Roman, it's nice to meet you." He said.

I shook his hand, "I'm Logan. It's a pleasure to be acquainted," I responded.

"You're damn right it is!" Roman stated. Patton laughed lightly.

I never quite got the chance to take in Patton's features, so I took this as an opportunity to. His hair was dirty blonde, only a bit curly. He had pale white skin, with freckles on his cheeks. His eyes were gemstone green with thin, round, black glasses in front.

I also took the chance to take the chance to analyze Roman's facial features. His hair was light brown, quite straight and carefully swept away from his eyes. His eyes were ocean blue. His skin was lightly tanned.

I'm going to be completely honest, I was confused when I entered the school to see Patton and Roman rather than Virgil. I was going to dismiss myself from the conversation to look for Virgil, until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to my right and saw Virgil with his hood up and his purple bangs covering his eyes. He appeared to have one of his black earphones in.

Virgil waved at me anxiously and crossed his arms over his chest, almost like he was trying to tell me something had changed. It took me a brief moment to notice, but he got his hair cut from just above his shoulders, to a less feminine style. I smiled at him to show I was happy he felt better about himself, and nodded.

Roman's eyes figuratively lit up upon seeing Virgil. "Well Logan," he said, "are you going to introduce me to your beauty of a friend?" Virgil looked at me and nodded to give me permission.

"This is Virgil," I started, "he has anxiety so please be patient with him." Virgil gave me a look that told me I said something wrong. So I started speaking again, "that does not mean you should treat him any differently than you would otherwise. I'm simply saying this so it avoids any questions in the near future."

Virgil nodded in agreement, and did the same anxious wave to Patton and Roman.

We continued meeting either inside the school or right outside for the remainder of school until winter break, which commenced about a week after. We all became friends rather quickly, some faster than others.

We created a group chat which I usually did not speak in unless someone else initiated conversation.
