Season One, Episode Four: Tami POV - Chasing The Stars

Katie, Lance, and Hunk had started walking away and headed to the food table as Callum joined them. "It's interesting to me how you speak in one word. Is something on your mind?" I looked over at Keith, "This is probably gonna be cheesy but I miss Kashi..I haven't been this long without communicating to him." He looked at me strange, "Well what helps clear your mind..", "Another cheesy answer but Stargazing..I like to watch the stars but also chart them and find constellations."

He smirked, "Then I know the perfect area..follow me." He started to walk away from the others as I followed him, "Where is this place you call perfect.." I laughed, "It wouldn't be perfect if I gave it straight away.." he continued walking down past the water fountain and near the edge of the first building. "Watch your step.." he started to climb as I saw a ladder leading to the roof, I followed behind him.

"This is honestly the best view of the stars and to stare down at the campus.." he held out his hand to help me up, I held it and looked out. The stars were glowing along with the far away planets glimmering in the night. "How did you find this place..", "I found when I made an attempt to escape but didn't make it far up the ladder.." I laughed, "Kashi would have loved this view..he could name every planet that glowed and name the stars..but never their constellations.."

He smiled and looked at me, "Well tell me which one you see first.." I look and hugged my knees, "I see the Big and Little Dipper..it's one out of the few that remind me of me and Kashi bonding with each other..since you know big and little sisters and brothers.." he laughs, "Pretty cheesy but a reasonable response.." I smiled as I hear footsteps coming from the ladder. "Someone's coming.." he mumbled and grabbed my hand, he stood up and I followed him as we hid behind the emergency exit room. "Something is not right.." I whispered, he peeked his head over, "Who is it?" I asked, "Not sure..looks like two grown ups but it's too dark to tell who..", "I know somebody up here..whispering doesn't help.."

The voice spoke. "Okay new plan. Run down the stairs and back to your dorm. I'll take the blame." I looked at him, "But Keith.." he looked at me, "Don't worry about me..just go.." he muttered as he let go of my hand, he went out and put his hands up in the air. "Well..well..if it isn't a Kogane..what you doing up so late on the roof.", "I was sta-" he couldn't finish his sentence as I heard a small scream and looked over and it was Callum. He was freaking out about something.

"Anyways. This was your third warning here at  Celestial Academy and we have no choice but to suspend you for at least ten days..we will call North Star Orphanage to come pick you up in the morning." The footsteps start to leave as I headed out the emergency door and down the stairs and to my dorm. While walking there as Keith yelled my name. "Tami! Wait!" I felt his hand on my shoulder and looked at him. "Thanks..for saving me back there..I overheard your suspension." He nodded, "It's fine. Plus the suspension just gave me the opportunity I needed.." I looked at him strangely, "What do you mean.."

"Celestial Academy is for those who enjoy and love space but nothing about piloting.." I frown, "You wanna be like Kashi..being a pilot." He nodded, "Something like that but something working on ships.." I sighed, "so this is goodbye..", "No, it's a see you later..if you ever miss me..just look at the stars.." I sighed with a small smile, "I will and when I do you will be the Fomalhaut.." he looked at me confused, "It's a star that acts like a lone wolf..and you act like that sometimes.." he laughs, "Alright..until next time..Tami..", "Until next time Lone Wolf.." he turned around and watched him walk away.

When I walked to the dorms, I heard the same voice from the roof, "Hello? Is this Marc from North Star Orphanage? Hi, it's Juliana Lunar. I am calling upon Keith Kogane..he was found today on the second floor emergency exit roof." I listened in as I could let Keith know anything I had heard. I heard slight laughter, "Excuse me what. He isn't in your system.." I raised a brow, "But on his file it says that is his current address.."

I tilt my head, "Alright..thank you..have a good night..I'll have a word with him in the morning.." I walked back to my dorm as I had to figure this out. Why has Keith been lying about where he lives? Where is he currently living? I was confused and walked in my dorm as my roommates all stared at me. "What?" I said, one of them handed me two letters. "These came for you..", "Thanks.."

I looked down at the letters as one was from Takashi and the other was from Keith. I opened Takashi's letter as it was just telling me about how it was going at the Garrison and how his letters wouldn't be sent in time as he had been busy training with others and had little time to write. I then opened Keith and it was just a picture of an old run down shack with the words on the back saying the address and IN CASE OF EMERGENCY.
