Lacey stood in the hallway of the courthouse. She knew that Brooke was at court and she had to step out. She knew that the baby was playing havoc on her and listening to Brooke talk over what had happened scared her.
Lacey looked to Carla as she walked out and smiled "are you okay baby" carla asked as Lacey wiped a tear away from her face and smiled
"I don't know. I'm so angry, how could she do that. She was seven when this started I had no idea how far this back. She's my little sister and I just want to look after her" Lacey said as Carla smiled
"I know trust me. I'm her mother and I had no idea what she went through but she is being so strong and she's holding it all together. She's strong and she'll be okay. I know that your hormones are all over the place but Brooke needs you" carla said as Lacey sat down and nodded
She placed her hand on her bump and nodded. She knew that the stress wasn't helping her pregnancy and she had to try and relax "I'll be in soon, I need to get a drink. I don't feel too good" Lacey said as Carla nodded
"I know it's not easy but it's okay, if you need to take time and focus on this baby I get it" carla said as Lacey smiled
Lacey knew how this case had got to her and all that she could think over was the case and how she felt as if she had let her little sister down. She knew Brooke was born because she was I'll as a child and she knew that she never wanted Brooke to go through this
Lacey knew how none of it was easy at all

Lacey walked back into the flat with nick and smiled "are you okay" he asked as she rested her head into his chest and smiled
"I'm okay. My head is a mess and I feel sick" she said as he smiled
"I know how hard that things are but I'm here for you and it's all going to be okay. I love you and that monster will pay for what she did to Brooke, so lost me look after you and this baby" he said as she smiled
"I'm glad that I have you, I'm glad that you're here as I have no idea what I'd do without you. I'm so lucky to have you" she said as he smiled
"I'm going no where. I promise" he said as she smiled
Lacey knew how a lot had happened and she knew how she and Nick had been up and down and it wasn't easy but she didn't care. She knew how it made their relationship even stronger than it was and it made her feel as if they could get through anything as long as they're together
"Why don't you get. Bath, try and relax as I know how stressful that today has been for you and I'll make you some food" he said as Lacey looked to him and smiled as she leant in and kissed him
"What would I do without you" she said as he looked to her and smiled

Lacey stood in the bathroom as she stood getting dressed, she looked as nick walked in and looked to her "are you okay" he asked as she nodded
"Tired" she said as she winced. He looked to her and frowned
"Are you okay" he asked as she frowned
"I'm bleeding. There's something wrong" she said as nick looked to her and frowned
They were both worried and they knew that it was early and they knew that the fact that Lacey was bleeding was not a good thing. Lacey knew just how scared that she was and she was scared that the stress of the trail was getting to her
But would it all be oaky and would the baby be okay?
