Lacey sighed as she walked through the street as she placed up missing posters of Carla. She sighed as she ran a hand through her hair and pulled her hood up over head and sighed. She looked to Carla's face on the foster and sighed. She missed her mum and it killed her as she had no idea where Carla could be or if she was okay "let me help you" she heard a voice say as she turned to see nick and sighed "don't" "Lacey wait will you" he said as he grabbed her arm and looked to her as she sighed to herself "why you don't care about my mum, you hated her for What she did to you so why would you care on finding her or care about her mental health" Lacey said as he sighed "because she is your mum and I care about you" he said as she looked to him with tears in her eyes

"I just want to know where she is" Lacey said as he pulled her close and smiled as he kissed her forehead and smiled "I know that you do but you are going to find her but in order to do that you need to look after yourself" he said as she looked to him and smiled as he held her close "come on, let's get you some rest and some food and I promise you that we will do anything to find her" Nick said as Lacey looked to him and frowned "why are you doing this when you have Leanne" "she's gone, I ended it" he said as Lacey frowned "why?" "Because I realised I had feelings for someone else" he said as she looked to him and smiled as he leant in and kissed her as she placed a hand on the back of his neck and pulled him close

Lacey sighed as she sat up from the bed naked. She looked to Nick as he lay asleep next to her and sighed as she saw her phone was ringing. She picked up how short and wrapped it around herself as and walked out of the bedroom as she answered the phone to see it was Carla "mum?" "Baby. I'm sorry I'm rotten" Carla said as Lacey frowned. She could tell carla wasn't herself at all "no it's okay tell ma where you are I need to know that your safe" "I can't" Carla said as she hung up as Lacey stood frozen. Lacey felt sick and all that she could do was worry. She wanted to find her mum and bring her home safe

Nick walked out of the room and frowned as he saw Lacey as she sat on the sofa sobbing. He walked over to her and hugged her as she sobbed "I don't know if I can do this" she said as he hugged her close "it's going to be okay I promise" he said as he held her close. Lacey felt as if she was falling apart and just wanted her mum home
