Lacey couldn't believe that Peter had told her she needed to end her relationship with Nick if she wanted to see her mum. She hated how Peter was trying to control the whole situation.
Carla was her mum and she hadn't seen her in weeks which actually hurt her. She missed her. And she knew Brooke hadn't been allowed to see her either.
Lacey hated him. She hated how he was keeping her mum from her. And she knew it wasn't easy at all. Especially as she had always been close to her mum.
She needed to make Peter understand that he couldn't keep her mum away. She knew she needed her. Especially as she was pregnant. She needed her mum there for her.
Lacey knew she had Nick. But she knew her mum was someone she would want with her during her pregnancy. She hadn't seen her since Peter had kicked her from the hospital. And the fact he had told her she couldn't see her until she had broken up with Nick annoyed her.
It wasn't easy at all. And she just missed her. She missed how things used to be. She missed her mum more than anything.
all she knew was that things weren't the same. And she just needed to know her mum was okay.
Lacey walked into the bedroom that morning and saw Nick lying there. He smirked and pulled her onto the bed. "You weren't here when I opened my eyes," he said.
"That's because I've been adulting. And make plans for the baby. You know, the tiny human we're having in a few months. And I've been thinking. I need to do something about how Peter is keeping me from my mum," Lacey told him.
Nick sat up. He looked to her. "I can help you there. Peter can't do this. She's your mum," he said.
"It's not even the fact she's unwell. It's the fact that she had a breakdown. And I haven't been able to see her. I miss her. And I'm pregnant. So a girl needs her mum," Lacey said.
"We'll fix it. I promise you."

Lacey walked along the street. She saw Brooke and cleared her throat. "Why are you not in school?" She asked.
Brooke shrugged. She looked to her. "I'm not going until the alcoholic lets me see my mum. I miss her. And I'm refusing to go," she told her.
Lacey sat down with her. She sighed and smiled. "I know you're missing her. I am too. But Peter can't keep her from us forever. I know she's unwell. But being cooped up in the house won't help her," she said.
"I miss her though. I like Michelle. But I wanna be with my mum," Brooke mumbled.
"We're gonna be okay. I promise."

Lacey knocked the door to the flat. Peter opened it and sighed. "What are you doing here?" He asked as he looked to her.
"I want to see my mum. So you either let me in, or I call the police and tell them you're keeping her locked up."
Peter shook his head. "She's said today. She doesn't want to see you. So just go away," he said as he went to shut the door.
Lacey put her foot there. She shook her head. "You're not listening to me. I am going to see my mum. Or I'll make you pay," she told him.
Peter shoved her out of the way and shut the door. But just what was going on? And why was Peter keeping Carla from her?
