chapter nineteen

"Ayden, chelsea???? You fucking kidding me????"
" Nope." She said calmly. Like it was no big deal.
I was about to shout at her again when she started talking.
" Look it's the only thing that comes to my mind."
" Whatever." I said standing up. I couldn't stand there anymore.
" Hey wait. What are you doing?"
"Going home."
"What the fuck ..... I didn't say we are done here."
" And I wasn't about to wait for you to say."
I said angrily.
"What the hell is wrong with you girl. Stop acting like a bitch. I was just trying to help."
As much as I hated to admit but she was right. She brought me here and listened to me. She even tried to help and I was shouting instead of thanking her.
" Ok right. I'm sorry."I said trying to keep my look at the ground.
" I just can't stand him. I didn't want to shout at you." I just continued. Letting her know that I didn't mean to be a bitch.
"It's okay."
She stood up trying to get free from the dust on her cloths.
"You hungry?"
" Starving."
" So Burger King? "
" Sure." I love burger king.

The rest of the night past in peace so does the next day. I tried to act like a professional in office. dressing like them shaking hands and things like this. I guess I did good but I never thought having an office job would be this hard. I don't know what I would do if I wanted to be a waiter.
God I should cook dinner tonight. Ugh. I hate cooking.Chill Rose , Chill a night won't kill.
When I got home the lights were on but no one was in.God.How hard is it to turn a lamp off when you are going out. How lazy they are.
I was thankful that no one was home. I had time to do the things as slow as possible.
well I'm not that skilled on cooking. I don't normally cook and tonight I just did the one I like.
Meatloaf with mashed potato.I added lemonade to the list. God. Other 18 year old girls now drink champaign to celebrate while we all haven't drink in our life. how ridiculous that sounds. well Rubi did actually but just for once. I stole Angi's purple candles too. They are her favourite.
I still haven't got my first salary but I bought them both a gift. Not a big one but I managed to find a bracelet with the first letter of their names. We had matched bracelets before but I guess I lost it. so whenever there is a conversation about it i just ditch it. I wonder why haven't they notice till now.
An hour past and finally Rubi came.
" HIIII" She said. offering a big smile to me. and she brought flowers. white one. oh my god. romantic Rubi??? no way it just happens once in a blue moon.
" So how was it?" She gave the flowers to me.
"Not bad. The company is big. It takes time to meet everyone."
"Any new friends?"
"Not yet. but I should find one. You know I'm not the type to stay alone."
"yeah I know"She laughed nailing the mashed potato on the pan.
" HEYYYYY. "
" What I can't wait. you cooked after ages and as always it doesn't taste good."
" Then you can go to restaurant."
"fuck off. it's been ages you haven't cooked."
" that's why you should wait for Angie to come and join."
"She is not home??" She said with a shocked look in her eye.
" Nope. Why? "
" I talked to her in the afternoon. She said she will be here by 4."
" Mybe there is traffic. "
"It's 8 actually.I don't know."
" Ok whatever."
I went to the kitchen to put the flowers in water. seriously Rubi??? you bought flowers after ages and you bought white ones. ugh I hate white flowers. It makes me feel like someone is dying. I know how ridiculous it sounds but it really makes me nervous.
" can you stop looking at them like that. They are just flowers." Rubi's sudden voice made me jump.
" HEYYY. you scared me."
She laughed.
" You bought them on purpose. you know I hate white flowers."
"One reason not to be nice to you bitch.I wanted to make you happy."
"Oh thank you for being this nice. You just ruined my mood."
"Fuck off girl. Just for a flower. I never understood what is it about the white roses that scares you. people use it on weddings. it's beautiful."
"Not for me. It makes me feel like something bad is happening.like they are cursed"
"Whatever. I'm starving. can't we just start."
"No" I said shooting her a glare.
" C'mon. I haven't eat anything since morning. At least call her." She said handing me the phone.
" Ok "
" She better answer cause if she doesn't........" the rest of her voice was lost between the sound of Angi's ring tone.
" You said she is not home." She stood up. looking at me.
" She wasn't. She is not in her room."
we went to her room. finding the phone on her bed.
" Maybe she forgot to take her phone. "
"No she didn't. I talked to her.
"You checked the bathroom?"There was a look on her face that was scarring the hell out of me.
" Nah. " I could clearly see what was on her mind.
There was a moment of silent and then we both ran to the bathroom. I've never been fast in my life but that night I almost flew to the bathroom even though our home wasn't big.
"Angie.... Angie you in there????" Rubi shouted while heating the door.
Well I'm not as patient as her so I just opened the door and found myself on a pool full of red liquid that I didn't even wanna think what it was.
well I guess the curse in white flowers has worked.
