After the London ONO show, Harry was exhausted. He didn't even have the energy to do his morning run, which was unusual for him.
With a sigh, he entered his restroom and washed his face, brushed his teeth, then put on a pair of black shorts before making his way down to his kitchen.
His mother was leaning against the counter talking on the phone, a tea mug in her other hand. He smiled at her as she did then took a seat at the island next to Gemma.
"What's that?" She hums looking up from her laptop and smiles.
"Article i'm working on. Tea?"
He hums watching her walk over to the cabinets beside Anne and grab two mugs filling them up. She slides one over to him when it's ready. "Thank you. Who's mum talking to?"
Her smirk already tells him who it is, but she decides to tease him anyway. "Your other half of course."
Taking a sip at his tea, he squints at his mother who's chuckling. "Of course honey. He's right here. Love you too."Anne hands over the phone to Harry right after bidding him a good morning.
Harry takes the phone with an excited grin. "Hey Lou."
"Hi sunshine. How are you?"
"I'm doing alright. Bit exhausted, but I slept late. Missed my run."
Louis hums knowingly. "Figured as much when you didn't answer me. So I called your mum."
Rolling his eyes, Harry scoffs. "Course you did. How's Brazil?"
"Good, good. Um, so El called me. We sort of argued."
Harry sighs heavily causing Gemma to look at him with a raised brow. He waves her off as he grabs his tea and heads out to the garden. "What happened?"
Louis scratches his cheek while looking out of the hotel window. "Freddie. She refuses to be around him. And Bri isn't making it any easier either. I feel like i'm in between a toggle war and about fall face flat in the mud. She's off doing her thing, which I don't care. But she's putting off joining me for the rest of the tour in anger."
It isn't like Harry wanted or chose this life. But in a sick twisted way, it happened because of the person he chose to love. So he bites back every bitter word that threatens to come out, then gulps choosing his words carefully. "Lou. She has a job and is her own person aside from being your fake girlfriend. Don't force her. If I was her, which I am by the way, i'd be feeling the same way. But I chose to forgive you. She hasn't because she just learned to love you. I have more understanding of us because I can't let you go. I know I don't want to let go. But she knows she deserves better. She knows she has choices and of course she's going to feel betrayed for things you have done."
"To you H! Not her."
He bites harder. "And how is that better?! You love me and you still did it! I get the Brianna thing because she's a whole other level. But Eleanor? She's devoted years of her life without being able to be with someone else just to keep our secret. So she had to learn to love you. She promised me she would. What other choice did she have? We always got to come back to each other, but she has never had anyone but herself. So when you did that to her, to us, it hurt. Both of us might I add. So her feelings about Freddie are justified. It's definitely not his fault, but you have to get where she's coming from and why. It broke me and yes i'm still standing. But she's a different story. She has feelings for you too. You have to accept them. Stop pushing them under the rug like you've done before. I'm fine now. Just accept it."
