ABBIE
I'm sitting on the front steps of my building waiting for Wyatt. It's actually not as chilly today as it has been recently. I fretted with what to wear. This is our first official date and I wanted to look my best. I'm wearing a strapless nude colored lace corset. It probably shows a bit too much cleavage. Wyatt seems to like my boobs though so I need them on display. To keep warm, I have a slightly darker nude blazer over it. I paired it with dark skinny jeans. I just wish I could wear cute shoes with it. Stupid walking boot. I kept my makeup natural with a darker lipstick and pulled my curls half back. Now I just need my date to show up. It's ridiculous how badly I miss him. Now that we're dating, it's like I can't stand to be away from him.
"That outfit does not seem appropriate to just be sitting here on the stairs," Victor says as he flops down next to me. "Big plans or is it my lucky day? Do I finally get to take you out?"
"I'm dating Wyatt."
"Pff. I can show you a better time."
"Not interested."
"Ouch, Kitten. Wyatt always gets the girls but they end up in my bed eventually."
"You're cocky."
"Course I am. I know what I have to offer."
"Have you seen your competition? Just because Ivy was a blind idiot doesn't mean I will be too." His eyes narrow slightly. I feel like I have to be harsh to get through to him. "I don't want to be mean to you, Victor, but we're not happening. Never. This isn't just about sex for me. I'm falling for Wyatt. Nothing is going to pull me away from him."
"Sounds like a challenge," he chuckles.
"It's not."
"That's what you think," he winks.
"Fine then. Wyatt's the winner. He's already won the prize and he's the one who gets to fuck me, not you."
I hear a motorcycle rev up and look up to see a shiny dark blue bike parked in front of us. He's wearing a black helmet, so I can't see his face, but I know it's Wyatt. It's definitely his body type and I'm drooling. He looks fucking hot on a motorcycle. I'm sure he's mad to see Victor sitting next to me. I don't give him a chance to get off his bike. I run straight for him. If this isn't Wyatt, it's about to be pretty damn embarrassing. He reaches out one arm and hugs me tightly against him.
"You look hot." I'm going to need to convince him to take me for a ride.
"So do you." I step back and watch as he removes his helmet and climbs off the bike. "Victor." Yeah. He's angry.
"Just keeping your lady friend company while she waits."
"Right." Wyatt reaches for my hand. I ignore it and wrap my arm around his back and cuddle into his side instead.
"I'm not his lady friend. I'm his girlfriend." I think both men look at me with surprise. Wyatt needs to play along so Victor backs off. He accidentally called me his girlfriend the other day anyway.
"So we've got a label now," Victor states as he stands up and approaches us. "Congratulations, man." He holds out his hand to Wyatt. I can tell Wyatt is reluctantly shaking it. "The labels never stood in my way before."
"Knock it off, Victor," I roll my eyes at him. I'm not going to allow him to make Wyatt even more insecure. He's already nervous enough as is. I feel like I'm fighting a battle all the way around. I'm trying to make Victor see that he doesn't stand a chance with me, while trying to show Wyatt that he has nothing to worry about. It's starting to feel exhausting. "Let's go," I say to Wyatt.
