y/n stood happily watching his friends and boyfriend performing bits of their choreography for their music video. having only arrived less than five minutes ago, he hadn't seen much yet.

as four of them dispersed off-screen for taehyun's small solo part, kai's eyes met y/n's. a large smile was instantly plastered on his face while he waved eagerly. y/n quickly waved back, still a ways away from the male. he watched the group gather back together and continue dancing before they finally did their ending poses.

the members quickly went to find small towels or water, while the youngest in contrast went straight for his boyfriend.

"my y/nnnn!!" he exclaimed as he scooped the shorter up into a tight hug. y/n returned the embrace, smiling at his partner's cuteness.

kai pulled back after a moment to give him the long kiss he'd promised earlier, and after, placing other little kisses all over his face.

"you guys looked great! are you excited for the comeback?" y/n asked. kai nodded and looked around for a moment.

"everything we've filmed so far is only making me more excited. the only thing i'm not ready for is to be busy again and have less time to see you."

y/n shook his head at this and took hold of the other's hands.

"don't worry about that, hyuka." he assured.

"hey, kai!" the couple turned to see yeonjun walking toward them. "it's your turn to do the ending segment for the behind the scenes video!"

kai nodded and quickly thanked the older before looking at y/n again.

"come with?" he asked. y/n smiled largely and nodded, keeping their hands connected as kai led him away.
