"hi, baby," kai's gentle voice broke y/n's quiet atmosphere as he let the taller inside. kai set his bag down before feeling a sudden embrace from his boyfriend. he was a bit taken by the action, but returned his hug nonetheless.
"are you okay?" kai asked as he looked down at the other.
"mm.. just missed you." y/n answered lowly, his arms tightening.
kai smiled at the response. his line of sight lingered on the smaller for a moment, a tinge of worry tugging at him upon seeing y/n's tired eyes. deciding not to mention it, he just tightened his own arms around the male and placed a soft kiss on his head.
"i'm here now, love."
