"S-si Bianca."

That was the last thing Maricris' told me before leaving the hall.

Im am now driving on the way on our home. I dont want to bring Maricris on her home in that state. It's all my fault. She's my responsibility but I forsaken her. How stupid I am.

She's in a deep slumber right now at the passenger seat wearing my jacket. She's still shaking but not too much. I already turned off my car's aircon.

After a few minutes, we finally arrived on my home. I carry her because I know she cannot walk and I dont want to disturb her sleeping.

She slowly open her eyes.

"H-hoy k-kapre ibaba m-mo a-ako."

Tsk. May sakit na nga, masungit pa din.

"Ssshhh. Dont talk okay? Tonight, I will be the one who will take care of you." 

She closed her eyes again. Seems that she is really tired of everything that happened today.

"Just sleep my paddy. Let me take care of you. I love you."

I kissed her on her forehead while going upstairs.

The maid opened my room and I gently lay her on my bed.

Again, she slowly flew her eyes open.

"A-asan si B-bianca? T-tinulu-ng-ngan mo ba s-sya?"

"No. Cindy is there for her. Dont think of her okay? You have to sleep. You have to take a rest."

"B-bakit h-hindi mo tinulungan si B-bianca?"

"I said dont think of her. Ssssshhhhh."

I run my fingers through her hair.

Until she fell asleep.

I press the buzzer and in a minute, the maid knock on my room.

"Come in."

"Bakit po sr?"

"I want you to get me a basin with lukewarm water and a piece of clean towel."

"O-okay po sr."

Our maid closed the door.

I think I forget something. Argh! What is it?

I hold her forehead and feel her temperature. God! Its damn hot.

"I think you need this son to check if she has really a fever."

"D-dad?"

"Dont bother to ask why I get here. Just use it to her."

I get the thermometer to dad and put it on her armpit.

*tiiiiit tiiiit*

"Dad. It's 38°c."

"She has a fever."

Then our maid enter my room.

"Sr eto na po yung planggana at maligamgam na tubig at towel."

"Thanks. Uhm. I need also a paracetamol. Please get me and water."

"Okay sr."

"Punasan muna sya."

"H-ha?"

"Yes. I know you have a high chivalrous on girls. Specially her. Whether you hate them. So I trust you that you will not take her for granted."
